Day Shift January 8, 2023
23-000300- 1600 BLK Keeble Street- Missing Person- The young man reported missing yesterday afternoon returned home today. He was removed from NCIC.
23-000333- 1100 BLK South Seminole Drive- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on the elderly male living at this residence. On scene police checked around the house but it appeared no one was home.
23-000335- 5300 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised an older male was acting strange in the store. On scene the male had already left the property. Police checked the surrounding area, but the male was not located.
Night Shift January 8-9, 2023
23-000351- 950 Spring Creek Road- Animal Complaint-Bite Call- Police responded to 950 Spring Creek Road in reference to a disorder. Police arrived on scene and could hear a struggle inside the residence. Police knocked, announced and made entry to the residence. There they observed a female attempting to fend off a dog inside of the kitchen with a chair while the dog actively attacked a second female. At this time, due to the immense threat to the safety of the female being attacked and other residents, police fired two rounds from a department issued firearm striking the dog two times in the side. Following no further threat to life or injury of the occupant’s, police began treating the occupants of the residence until EMS arrival on scene. In total three people were transported by Hamilton County EMS. Two of the victims will have to undergo surgery for injuries caused by the dog. On duty supervisor and CID responded and processed the scene. Report on file.
23-000357- 6100 BLK Sherwood Drive- Suspicious Person-Field Interview- Police were called about a male wearing a red hoodie and blue pants walking around possibly looking in cars. A man who matched the description was located in the 6000 block of Peck Drive. He was checked for wants/warrants with negative results. A Field Interview was completed.
23-000359- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Vehicle- A silver Jeep Laredo with a temporary registration was observed on the lot. The occupant was checked for wants/warrants with negative results.
23-000358- 1900 BLK Bowen Street- Suspicious Activity- The resident reported a suspicious vehicle stopped at her neighbor’s mailbox and appeared to open it. There were other mailboxes open on Bowen Street. It is unknown if anything was taken.
