The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
January 02 – Day Shift
2500 E. 17th Street (stolen auto recovery):
A man located his stolen black Chrysler 300 at this location. He stated the suspect had been seen walking away from the area and leaving with another individual. Suspects were gone when police arrived. CPD recovered the vehicle and removed it from NCIC.
Mack Smith Road at Ringgold Road (hit and run):
A woman driving a PT Cruiser struck a vehicle and fled the scene. A passerby copied the tag, and the driver, Barbara Holmes, was located at her vehicle in Rossville with her car. She was issued traffic citations.

January 02 – Night Shift
1517 Tombras Ave (Disorder 21- 000067):
Two middle-aged men were allegedly in a physical altercation. The disorder was actually between participants in a youth basketball game.
1000 Spring Creek Rd (Hit and Run 21-000070):
Officers responded to a hit and run crash. A white female was last seen running north from a disabled Chevrolet after it struck another vehicle. The driver was identified and warrants will be sought.
6105 Ringgold Rd (Miscellaneous):
A Popeye’s employee stated an irate customer asked which vehicle in the parking lot belonged to them. The employee was concerned the customer may vandalize their vehicle.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Intoxicated Party 21-000077):
Police responded to reports of an intoxicated party at the Mapco. Officers made contact with Michael Martin for the second time of the evening. Martin was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for Public Intoxication.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-000078):
Tabitha Walker was served East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
6674 Ringgold Rd (Auto Theft 21-000080):
The reporting party stated their silver 2005 Acura TL had been taken. The victim did not have VIN or tag information at the time of the theft and will forward it to police at a later date.
800 S Seminole (Fail to Stop 21-000081):
Officers initiated a traffic stop on a black sedan in the 800 block of S Seminole. The vehicle failed to stop and fled into Chattanooga at a high rate of speed. Police did not chase the vehicle per department policy.
800 S Seminole (Fail to Stop 21-000082):
Officers initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Impala in the 800 block of S Seminole. The vehicle failed to stop and fled into Chattanooga at a high rate of speed. Police did not chase the vehicle per department policy.
3801 Ringgold Rd (Unknown 911 21-000084):
Officers responded to an Unknown 911 call at Level Up Arcade. There was large party taking place with several hundred people. Police did not locate anyone in distress.
6500 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-000086):
Sean Morris was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.
2006 Prigmore Rd (Suspicious Activity/Aggravated Assault 21-000089):
Dispatch received an open line call. A male party could be heard discussing owning fully automatic weapons and making claims of being “established in America.” Officers arrived and attempted to make contact with male parties in a garage connected to the residence. Police overheard a male telling another male to put a gun down and not to load it. Police then heard, what appeared to be a rifle being loaded and men yelling. Police continued to give commands for the males to exit the garage. One male exited the garage but refused to comply with police once outside. The other male could be heard screaming for help from the garage. Officers were eventually able to secure both parties and clear the garage. An AR15 style rifle was located in a pickup truck in the garage with multiple rounds of ammunition. Gilles Bourgeois was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

January 03 – Day Shift
1014 John Ross Road (open windows):
While conducting a business check of East Ridge Elementary police located an unsecured window on the east side playground/courtyard area that leads into the library. Dispatch contacted a member of Hamilton County Maintenance who advised he does not answer calls on Sunday and did not want police to clear the school. Police returned the window to its original closed position and continued a check of the property which yielded two more unsecured windows on the west side playground/courtyard area, near the office area. As per maintenance request, officers returned the windows to their original position and documented the findings in CAD.
I-75 North (crash):
Police responded to a crash where parties from one vehicle fled on foot. CPD responded and assisted with apprehending all three who ran. An investigation showed none of the three had been driving, and none had warrants. They were released, and the driver was cited.

January 03 – Night Shift
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Juvenile 21-000109):
Police responded to an unknown trouble call at the Budgetel and made contact with a 17-year-old female and her mother. The juvenile was verbally abusive with the mother threatening to leave even after being warned by officers to stay in the room. The juvenile was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest after exiting the room and confronting police.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (AOA Warrant 20-000110):
Joseph Leming was detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail on county warrants.
1409 St Thomas St (Domestic Violence 21-00111):
Kendall Stoudermire was taken into custody for Domestic Assault after spitting on his wife and pulling his juvenile daughter’s hair.
1200 S Seminole (Arrest 21-00115):
Brandon Fears was taken into custody for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm during a traffic stop.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest):
Michael Parker was booked on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
