Fire damaged a house in the 700 block of Frawley Road, Monday morning.
According to East Ridge Fire Chief Mike Williams, at 4:56 a.m. firefighters were dispatched to 728 Frawley Road on what was a possible fire at the Parkridge Apartments. A caller had reported heavy smoke in the area.
When firefighters arrived in the area they discovered the apartments were not ablaze but heavy smoke was in the area. They quickly located the cause of the smoke, as a house was on fire at 704 Frawley Road.
According to Chief Williams, firefighters conducted a search of the residence and established nobody was inside and commenced with an interior attack of the blaze.
No injuries were reported, Chief Williams said, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
