A late night fire damaged a Cedar Glen Circle home on Wednesday.
According to East Ridge Fire Chief Mike Williams, firefighters were dispatched to 418 Cedar Glen Circle at 11:01 p.m. When firefighters arrived heavy fire and smoke was coming from the two-story home. Crews made an aggressive interior attack, located and extinguished the fire.
Chief Williams said there were no injuries reported in the blaze and that a family pet was rescued from the burning residence.
“Great job Red Shift and all that were involved,” Chief Williams posted on the ER Fire and Rescue Facebook page.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist in helping the occupants of the home, officials said.
