Day Shift February 20, 2023
23-002057 -1500 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Attempted Aggravated Burglary – The reporting party stated her adolescent daughter observed an unknown person bang on her bedroom window. She described this person as a male with a blue shirt and blonde hair riding a blue bicycle. She went on to state when she screamed for her mother, the suspect fled.
23-002062 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Rd – Aggravated Assault – A man was arrested after brandishing a weapon at occupants in another vehicle during a road rage incident.
23-002068- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person – Police were asked to check on a suspicious person at this location. Officers came in contact with two homeless individuals who were asked to move along and advised of no urban camping in the city. Police made contact with the parties again and they were told to move along immediately.
23-002072- 6100 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Crash – Following a traffic crash a male party was taken into custody for outstanding Hamilton County warrants. He was transported to Silverdale.
23-002077- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Suspicious Activity – Officers responded to this location for a party going through several purses at a picnic table. On arrival police made contact with a woman who advised she was waiting on a ride. She was checked for possible warrants and sent on her way.
Night Shift
23-002088 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Activity – Police were called to the restaurant regarding rival biker gang members in a verbal altercation in the parking lot. Prior to police arrival, the aggressors had left.
23-002091 – 6800 BLK Beulah Drive – Assist Citizen call – Police received a call from a subject that seemed confused. He is an elderly male. EMS responded to evaluate him. He was placed into protective custody. After learning this he became irate and began running around the yard, attempting to hit EMS personnel with his cane, attempting to bite and kick officers and EMS personnel. He was physically restrained and transported to a local Hospital for treatment.
23-002081 – 6500 Ringgold Road – Arrest- A male subject was taken into custody for disorderly conduct following calls regarding a person screaming and cussing and pacing at this location.
23-002100 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant – A male party was arrested and booked at the Hamilton County Jail on an East Ridge warrant for driving on suspended (alias capias).
February 17, 2023 Day Shift
23-001884- 3400 Gail Drive- Auto Theft Recovery- The 2013 Hyundai Elantra that was reported stolen on February 16, 2023, at approximately 0744 hours was recovered by Chattanooga Police at Walgreens on Brainerd Road @ Germantown Road. The vehicle was removed from NCIC upon request from Chattanooga Police Department. The owner of the vehicle has been notified.
23-001924- 4000 BLK Bennett Road- Suspicious People- The caller advised an older male was yelling at a child. On scene police spoke with the male and found he was deaf and didn’t realize he was yelling.
23-001929- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Delayed Shoplifting- The caller advised a female was observed shoplifting yesterday. On scene the caller advised a female was caught on camera stealing from the store. The suspect was able to get away with $145.68 worth of merchandise. Police reviewed the footage and were unable to positively identify the female. Police will seek a warrant for theft upon identifying the suspect. Later in the shift officers were able to identify the suspect. Police will seek warrants for theft of property.
23-001930- 730 Germantown Circle- Auto Theft- The caller reported his vehicle (black 2021 Kia Forte) was stolen sometime during the night. Police reviewed video and observed three unidentifiable males take the vehicle around 0135 hours and leave the property. The car was entered into NCIC.
23-001931- 3600 BLK Mimbro Lane- Auto Theft- The reporting party said his white 1995 Cadillac Deville was taken between the hours of midnight and 0100 on this date. A neighbor provided video of a possible suspect and told police that someone had stolen a bunch of tools from his vehicle around the same time that the vehicle was last seen. The video shows a male, 20 to 29 years old, light colored jacket with blue jeans prowling around the garage door at 3611 Mimbro around 00:39 hours. Vehicle was entered in NCIC. NIC. Later in the shift the vehicle was located at 3320 Ringgold Road. It was removed from NCIC and the owner picked it up.
23-001935- 3611 Mimbro Lane- Vehicle Burglary- Sometime around the time of the above auto theft a truck was entered at this address. The suspect took a large amount of tools from the vehicle. Later in the shift the tools were located during the recovery of the above vehicle. They were returned to the owner.
23-001936- 1441 North Smith Street Room 219- Intoxicated Person/AOA Warrant Service- The caller advised the two people in this room were extremely intoxicated and refusing to leave. On scene police encountered Stephanie Donahoo and a male. Donahoo was found to have a sessions court warrant. She was transported to Silverdale.
23-001937- 5900 BLK Graston Avenue- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised a suspicious red Kia was parked in front of the residence and possibly occupied. On scene police spoke with the driver. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
23-001939- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male has been in the business for approximately 12 hours. On scene police encountered the party. He was checked for warrants and advised to leave the property.
February 17 – Night Shift
23-001969- 5000 16th Avenue- Arrest-Warrant- A man was arrested and transported to Silverdale on an Alias Forfeiture warrant with a $300 bond.
23-001970- 5400 BLK Brainerd Road- Arrest-Warrant- A man was arrested on an Alias warrant and transported to Silverdale by Chattanooga Police Department with no bond.
23-001976- 4214 Ringgold Road- Warrant Service- ERPD officers executed an arrest warrant issued for an alias capias.
February 18 – Day Shift
23-001984- 3400 BLK Maple Creek Lane- Disorder/Arrest- A man reported involvement in an altercation with his sister and her boyfriend. Based on statements from all three parties, police determined the reporting party to be the primary aggressor and placed him in custody for domestic assault. He was transported to Silverdale.
23-001988- 6710 Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check/Overdose- The caller requested police check on a female subject at this location. The caller advised the female was using narcotics and not answering her phone. On scene police spoke with the desk clerk and were advised the female had checked out of the motel and left the area. Officers checked the room anyway. The female was found passed out in the floor. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and transported to the hospital.
February 18 – Night Shift
23-002010- 800 BLK S Germantown Road- Felony Evading/ Aggravated Assault- Police attempted a traffic stop on a U-haul. During the stop the U-Haul accelerated towards an Officer at a high rate of speed. The officer took evasive action to keep from being struck. A short pursuit ensued. The pursuit was discontinued at Germantown Road and Brainerd Road per the shirt supervisor. Police are working to identify the driver so charges can be taken.
23-002012- 3900 BLK Brainerd Road- Arrest-other- While assisting Chattanooga PD in investigating a UHaul truck that matched the description of a truck that fled from ERPD earlier in the shift, officers contacted a female who had verified warrants out of ERPD. She was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
23-002014- 700 S Germantown Road- Traffic Stop- A woman was taken into custody following a traffic stop at this location for an outstanding Alias Capias arrest warrant out of East Ridge for driving on suspended.
23-002015- 5700 Roper Street- Unknown Trouble- Police responded to this location after the reporting party advised they heard someone screaming for help. On scene police located a man suffering facial injuries after being in a physical altercation with another male. EMS was called to the scene to assess his injuries to which he denied medical assistance. He then told police the assailant was his brother. While speaking with him he then stated there was another male with his brother and repeatedly told police conflicting stories. Due to his level of intoxication he was given a ride to his mother’s residence in Georgia.
23-002018- 3600 Ringgold Road- Arrest-Traffic- Police attempted a traffic stop on a white Ford Fusion at this location. The vehicle fled police north on Germantown Rd. Police did not pursue but were able to get a license plate on the vehicle. Police checked the registered address and located the vehicle with a male in the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested for felony evading, driving on revoked, and a traffic control device violation.
23-002020- 4300 BLK of Ringgold Road- Warrant Service- Police observed a female walking in the roadway. Police stopped to check on her and found her to be intoxicated. She was found to have two active warrants through general sessions. The woman was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.
February 19 – Day Shift
23-002022- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Unknown 911- Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 call at this location. On scene police located a female in distress. Police transported the female to an address in Chattanooga, per her request.
23-002023- 700 BLK Frawley Road- Fight/Possible Shots Fired- The caller advised several people at this address were fighting and they might have heard a gunshot. On scene police spoke with the occupants of the residence. They advised there had been a verbal altercation with a person that had already left the area but no physical altercation. Officers checked the property but found no evidence of gunfire.
23-002025- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Citizen Assist- The caller requested police assistance with a dead battery in his vehicle. On scene police were able to jump off the battery.
23-002028- 323 Camp Jordan Parkway- Disorder- The caller advised of several males in a disorder and refusing to leave the arena. On scene officers found the males had already left the property.
February 19 – Night Shift
23-002047- 1324 Hixson Pike- Arrest-Warrant- A man was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Driving While License Revoked, Suspended.
23-002052- 2000 BLK McBrien Road- Suspicious Activity- Police were called to check on three individuals near a silver SUV with flashlights. The area was checked, and no one was found.
