Day Shift February 9, 2023
23-001599- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Unknown Trouble/Citizen Assist- The caller advised a male on the property asked him to call police. He requested a ride to the Georgia state line. He was checked for warrants and given a ride.
23-001600- 950 Spring Creek Road- Prowler- The caller advised an unknown person aggressively knocked on her door. On scene police checked the area but no one was located.
23-001605- 900 BLK State Line Road- Mental Health Consumer- The caller advised a female at this location was suicidal and aggressive. On scene the female was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital.
23-001609- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Drug Overdose- On arrival police met with a female. She stated her brother was lying on the floor unresponsive and possibly overdosing. Police administered a (1) Narcan nasal spray to him after checking for breathing and a pulse. EMS arrived on scene and began care for him. He was transported by HCEMS for additional care. The complainant advised police the drug paraphernalia on her brother’s bed was his. Along with the drug paraphernalia, which was in plain sight on the bed, was a small bag with what appeared to be methamphetamine. The drug paraphernalia was gathered for destruction and the methamphetamine was gathered for evidence to be entered into East Ridge Property and Evidence. There was also in plain sight drug paraphernalia on the complainant’s bed (evidence gathered, cited, and charged separate from this report). Police will seek warrants on the male subject for possession of methamphetamine. Later police were called back to the motel. The staff advised more narcotics were located while cleaning the room. The items were taken and put in property.
Night Shift February February 9, 2023
23-001624- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- drug arrest- Police encountered a man in the parking lot of the hotel. He was placed under arrest when police discovered he was in possession of approximately .25 Oz of methamphetamine and outstanding warrants.
23-001627- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- drug arrest- During a traffic stop at this location police discovered the driver had an active warrant through Hamilton County. After his arrest police also discovered He was in possession of approximately .75 Oz of methamphetamine.
23-001630 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service / Arrest – Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle at Walgreens. Both occupants were found to have active warrants and were taken into custody.
23-001622 – 700 BLK Donaldson Road – Shots Fired- Police responded to this address after a neighbor reported seeing a female fire shots in the air. On scene police made contact with the residents and located a firearm which appeared to have not been used. Nothing further located at this time.
23-001629 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Stolen Plate Recovery- While on a park and walk officers located a vehicle with a stolen license plate displayed. Officers made contact with the registered owner of the vehicle who appeared to be an elderly handicap gentleman. The elderly gentleman told police he had not driven the vehicle recently and a female party was in the vehicle last. The license plate was seized by police and entered into property.
23-001631 – 500 BLK Cedar Glen Cir – Arrest – A “Jane Doe” was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and retaliation for past action after police were called due to her walking down Frawley Road screaming.
