Day Shift October 20
23-013259 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Disorder – Police responded to the gas station at this location for unwanted parties on the property. The subjects were gone on
23-013260- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Vehicle Pursuit- Officers attempted to stop a Grey Dodge Charger after receiving a LPR hit on Camp Jordan Parkway. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed on I75 N and then onto I153. Officers terminated the pursuit and charges will be pending the identification of the driver for felony evading and reckless driving.
23-013271- 6000 BLK Ringgold Road- Criminal Trespass- A man was criminally trespassed from this location by employees. He was identified as a subject who previously exposed himself to staff.
Night Shift October 20
23-013282 – 1100 BLK Chippewah Dr – Found Property – The caller stated she found a wallet in her basement. She stated that the party previously stayed at her residence, but she was not able to contact her. Police went to the last known address for the party but found she was no longer there. Police also called the last known phone number and left a voice mail. The wallet was placed in the ERPD Property and Evidence.
23-013289 – 60 BLK Frawley Rd – Disorder – Police responded to this address after a woman reported her juvenile granddaughter missing. She stated the juvenile was at a family member’s house and the juvenile’s mother was also at the location. Police responded to the address, contacted the juvenile, and released the juvenile back to her.
23-013291 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – The manager reported a disorder involving a customer at the drive through window. Police spoke to a man who advised he was upset because his food order was wrong. The security cameras revealed the man slamming his bag of food against the drive through window prior to the arrival of police. He trespassed from the restaurant at the manager’s request. (Trespass # 23-000242).
23-013294 – 1100 BLK Chippewah Dr — Disorder Weapon – The caller stated he was in a disorder with an unknown male in a black Kia Optima. He stated that he was getting his child out of a vehicle when he exchanged words with the unknown suspect. According to him, the male suspect pulled out a handgun then left the scene. The identity of the suspect was not determined. Police found that the reporting party had an unrelated warrant out of Polk County, TN. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-013301 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Collegedale, TN. The original charge was assault.
23-013305 – 1600 BLK Prater Rd – Pursuit/ Arrest – Police observed a possibly impaired driver traveling northbound on Prater Road in Georgia. The vehicle failed to maintain its lane and drifted into oncoming traffic. The vehicle came into Tennessee and abruptly parked in the middle of the roadway. Police attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled at low rate of speed. The suspect maneuvered through several side streets onto Ringgold Road. The vehicle then accelerated to 60 mph on Ringgold Rd but slowed down to turn on Sunnyfield Lane. The driver pulled into a driveway and attempted to run inside a house. The suspect was apprehended and identified. He was charged with DUI and Evading Arrest.
23-013307 — 4000 BLK Ringgold Road — Intoxicated Person- Police observed a male stumbling on the side of the road. He stated that he lived down the road and had just left a local bar. Police escorted him to his home and released him to a responsible party.
Day Shift October 21
23-013312- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was arrested on multiple ERPD Warrants.
23-013325- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Shoplifting- The caller advised a male and female in the business possibly concealing items. Officers encountered the pair. One was issued a misdemeanor citation for drug possession and a criminal trespass warning.
23-013326- 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Narcotics Violation- The caller advised a male and female were smoking marijuana in the back yard. On scene police spoke with the occupants of the residence. No narcotics were observed.
Night Shift October 21
23-013338 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody and charged for multiple traffic violations including DUI. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-013339 – 6200 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded after being flagged down by a man due to him getting into an altercation with the manager. He stated that the manager cussed him several times and he wanted it reported. Officers spoke to the manager, who confirmed the statements by the reporting party. He wished to have the man trespassed from business.
23-013353 – Waterhouse Street @ Mckinley Street – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a Silver Toyota 4runner to have no taillights. It was found that the driver had a revoked license for DUI. Upon gaining consent to search the vehicle a stolen license plate and credit card were found in the owner’s bag. The owner was not in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-013342 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – DUI – Police responded to a person unconscious in the drive – thru line. Upon arrival, the driver was slumped over the steering wheel of the vehicle. Police immediately noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. The party was transported for medical clearance. Upon searching the vehicle police found 1.2 grams of suspected fentanyl, 1.7 grams of suspected marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia. The man was taken into custody for driving under the influence and possession of Fentanyl.
23-013350 – 100 BLK Atomic Ridge – Noise Complaint – The owner of an Airbnb contacted police concerning a large party with loud music at this location. When the police arrived, the party group was leaving the area in an orderly manner. The owner requested an increased police presence in the area.
23-013346 – 4000 BLK Sherlin Drive – Intoxicated Person – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a male running over a mailbox. Police arrived and contacted a man who was heavily intoxicated and possessed a loaded firearm He was taken into custody for Possession of a handgun while under the influence. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-013355 – 3800 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – Police were dispatched to this location regarding two unresponsive males inside a vehicle. Police arrived and were able to wake up the two passengers. Both were heavily intoxicated and were taken into custody for their safety and the safety of the public.
Day Shift October 22
23-013381- 1200 BLK South Seminole Drive- Disorder- A man called to report a disorder between him and another man. Upon arrival the suspect was seen running from officers. While looking for him a woman advised he had assaulted her. He was located hiding under the residence, arrested, and transported to jail.
Night Shift October 22
23-013397 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A man was taken into custody for multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop at this location. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he was booked according to his charges.
23-013393 – 3400 BLK Gail Drive – Auto Theft – Police responded to this location regarding an auto theft on a red Kia SUV. Dispatched advised that the vehicle had been taken five to ten minutes prior with the keys in the vehicle. Dispatched also advised at 2050 hours Chattanooga Police responded to a motor vehicle crash with the same vehicle. Police do not have any suspects and a report has been made.
23-013392 – 4300 BLK Spriggs Street – Assist Fire – ERPD and ERFD units responded to the reported brush fire at this address. On scene, first responders found a significant fire in the backyard of the home with a shed fully engulfed in flames. Police assisted by evacuating residents and checking the status of several neighbors. Police units also assisted in containing a small fire that spread into the neighboring yard.
Day Shift October 23
23-013414- 1400 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder with a Weapon/Possible Traffic Crash- The caller advised a male in a white Honda forced him off the roadway before he pointed a handgun at him. The unknown male they left the scene west on Ringgold Road. Officers found the caller had also left the scene in an unknown direction.
Night Shift October 23
23-013441 – 500 BLK Sharondale Road – Burglary in Progress – Police responded to this location regarding a possible Burglary in progress. Police arrived and contacted the resident who advised while she was in the kitchen her unsecured door opened. She did not see anyone. Police observed no sign of forced entry.
23-013446 – 4214 Ringgold Rd – Warrant Service – After responding to a suspicious activity call, a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy transported a wanted party to the Hamilton County Jail for East Ridge warrants (Forfeiture Capias, Driving on Suspended and FTA).
