Traffic to be Redirected to Tombras Avenue

Beginning on Monday, February 20, Chattanooga Gas Company crews will begin the gas relocation operation at the intersection of East Ridge Avenue and Ringgold Road.

According to a press release by the City of East Ridge, the work is expected to be completed within seven days.

During this phase of construction, the intersection will remain open while crews remove the gas main conflict. Once completed, Talley Construction will close East Ridge Avenue for the day to install the remaining storm drainage pipe across East Ridge Avenue.

During this closure, all traffic attempting to access East Ridge Avenue will be redirected to Tombras Avenue where alternate route and detour signs will be placed to re-direct traffic.
