Day Shift November 27
24-014978 – 1400 BLK Adonna Lane – Theft – A man reported the theft of his 24-inch pink and white mountain bike with an attached bike trailer that belonged to a third party.
24-014979 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Management requested Police remove a woman who was attempting to panhandle and playing her violin in the parking lot. The officer spoke with the violin player who agreed to move along without issue.
24-014989 – 3500 BLK Pinellas Lane – Residential Fire – Police responded to this location for a residential fire and ensured that all residents were safely evacuated. The fire department promptly responded and extinguished the flames.
Night Shift November 27
24-014999 – 3500 BLK Shelby Circle – Domestic Assault Arrest(s) – Police responded to a domestic disorder. Both parties were intoxicated and had observable injuries consistent with physical assault. One was taken into custody for an East Ridge warrant for Violation of a Protective Order. Both were arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-015001 – 5000 BLK South Terrace – Fight – Police responded to the above address for a report of a fight involving six to eight people. Officers detained three juveniles and an adult. Police were unable to review camera footage of the incident to determine what had taken place. The investigating officer requested the manager of the theater email footage to them for further investigation. Charges pending review of the surveillance footage. All identified individuals were trespassed who were actively involved in the fight.
24-015002 – 6000 BLK Wentworth Ave – Domestic/ Arrest – ERPD responded for a domestic assault. The father stated that his son choked him and was acting “off.” He stated the son approached him with two small gold bricks and was digging in them, saying he was trying to free the angels. He said he helped his son by stepping on them then cleaned the mess up by flushing it down the toilet. When he returned to the kitchen his son put him into a “guillotine” that restricted his breathing and made him fear for his life. The son stated that his father was stumbling and bumped into him, so he put him into a guillotine in self-defense. Based on the statements and information given, the party was arrested for Aggravated Domestic.
Day Shift November 28
24-015017 – 2100 BLK McBrien Road – Animal Call – Police responded to the intersection of McBrien Road and State Line Road for an animal call. The reporting party stated to police she witnessed a black Toyota pickup truck purposely swerve and run over a dog at the intersection. Police were able to contact the owner of the truck on State Line Road. He denied hitting the dog and no damage was observed to his vehicle. Report on file.
Night Shift November 28
24-015037 – 400 BLK McBrien Road– Suspicious Vehicle / Narcotics Violation – Police observed a gray Honda Accord parked in the parking lot. Upon approaching the vehicle, the driver opened his door, and officers smelled the odor of marijuana. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search, police located a small amount of marijuana, an apple that was used to smoke the marijuana, suspected “lean.” and eight beers. The three occupants were identified as two juvenile males and one 18-year-old male. All three were released to adult family members. The vehicle was secured and left at the scene. Police seized all contraband for destruction.
24-015040- 4214 Ringgold Rd.- Intoxicated Person- Police observed a crying female sitting on the sidewalk in front of the police department. When police approached the female, she was seen with an open beer with a second beer sitting in a bag beside her. The female was found to be heavily intoxicated and a danger to herself. She was taken into custody for public intoxication.

24-015044 – 4100 BLK E Ridge Drive – Suspicious Activity – The resident called in absentia about possible suspicious activity occurring outside her residence. The caller reported she heard sounds through her outside security system of what she thought was a drill. The caller also claimed the sounds were disturbing her cat. On scene, police discovered the possible source of the issue was Christmas chimes from a nearby residence.
24-015047 – 20 BLK Crescent Park – Theft – The caller reported a male driving a box truck displaying “McCurry Van and Car Rental” entered his yard and stole a package before driving off.
24-015055 4214 Ringgold Rd- Deceptive Practice – Police spoke with a party who reported he was scammed out of $1,476. An individual who claimed to be part of Best Buys Geek Squad took control of his computer and transferred money to another bank account.
24-015062 1100 BLK McBrien Rd- Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to this address on reports of a male trespassing. Officers identified the man. When the Police instructed him to turn around, he became combative. He was charged with Resisting Arrest, Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Night Shift November 29
24-015082 – I-75 Northbound – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency / Arrests – Following a traffic stop, three individuals were taken into custody. A woman was arrested on a warrant out of Dade County, GA for a Probation Violation. A man was arrested on two warrants out of Marion County for Failure to Appear and a Probation Violation. Another man was arrested on a warrant out of Hamilton County Sessions Court.
Day Shift November 30
24-015087 – 6900 BLK Wake Robin Drive – Missing Person – Police responded to the residence after a family member called seeking help for their intoxicated daughter. Prior to police arrival, she had taken off through a back door. Officers were told Meagan left wearing flip-flops, shorts, and a blue parka. Police, East Ridge Fire, and Hamilton County STARS canvassed the area and checked hotels and businesses in the area. She was not located during the extensive search. The family was advised to call the police upon her return. Follow-up: Police were notified when the woman returned home. She requested to go to Joe Johnson’s utilizing transport from her parents. En Route to Joe Johnson, she jumped from the vehicle in the vicinity of 20 Cherokee Avenue and ran. CPD searched the area but was unable to locate her.
24-015088 – 500 BLK Germantown Road – Well-Being Check – CPD reported a naked male yelling and walking south on Germantown Road. ERPD stopped and detained the nude man until CPD took him into custody.
24-015097 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – Police responded on a report of a female making verbal threats towards employees. Surveillance footage along with a voicemail she left at the store showed her getting heated with staff and taking their pictures, saying she needed to know who she was going to follow home to kill. A warrant for Assault (Intimidation) is being sought.
No Case Number- 1517 Tombras Ave- Turkey Wrangling/ Turkey Arrest – Officers were dispatched to City Hall on reports of a disorderly Turkey. Upon arrival, officers observed a large Turkey trotting around the front doors of City Hall. Officers called for animal control and then assisted in wrangling the fowl. Officers deployed and corralled the disorderly Turkey into an animal control cage. They were successful in taking the turkey into custody without injury to the bird or officers. The Turkey was transported to a suitable home without incident.
Night Shift November 30
24-015103 – 1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Deceptive Practice – A woman reported her check was stolen from a mailbox at the East Ridge Post Office. The check was originally written for a bill payment but had been “washed” and re-written in the amount of $2,500. The altered check was deposited into a checking account through a mobile deposit application.
24-015108 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – The Rossville Police Department arrested a woman on a Capias for Arrest of Probationer through East Ridge. The original charge was for Theft of Property and a Hold was faxed to the Walker County Jail.
24-015114 – 1-24 Westbound – Reckless Driving / Evading – Police observed a black Dodge Charger driving at a high rate of speed while weaving between lanes on I-24 Westbound. Officers attempted a traffic stop with the Charger, but the driver refused to stop and increased his speed to above 100 mph. Police lost sight of the vehicle, and the registration tag was not visible. Warrants for Reckless Driving and Evading Arrest will be sought upon identification of the driver.
24-015121 – 4400 Maryland Drive – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a woman was arrested for Driving on a Revoked License for DUI. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-015124 – 3200 BLK Brainerd Road – Assist Other Agency – Following a call for service in Ridgeside, ERPD units observed a fight involving several people in the 3200 BLK of Brainerd Road. Three ERPD units, an off-duty CPD officer, and a security guard, stopped the physical altercation. Police found that approximately 20 individuals were associated with the incident. ERPD units secured the scene until CPD units arrived and took control of the investigation. No arrests were reported by CPD, and the investigation has been closed.
Day Shift December 1
24-015130- 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd- Domestic Assault – Police responded on reports of a man and woman arguing in a car. Officers spoke with a party who told Police his girlfriend struck him in the face and ripped his necklace off. He advised that they had argued over money misused on a phone bill. This caused the altercation where she struck him in the ear causing him to bleed. He said he jumped out of the car, and she took off. A BOLO was sent out through Hamilton County and warrants are being sought for.
Night Shift December 1
24-015145 – 6000 BLK Peck Drive – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for a warrant out of Catoosa County, GA. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, police located a scale, plastic bags, and other drug paraphernalia. After transport to the Hamilton County Jail, he was found to have 13.2 grams of suspected fentanyl hidden on his person. He was charged with Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office also intends to charge him for the introduction of contraband into the detention center.
24-015148 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Vehicle Pursuit / Arrest – Police initiated a traffic stop with Pontiac sedan that displayed an unreadable temporary tag. The vehicle refused to stop, accelerated, and began swerving into multiple lanes of the roadway. Police suspected the driver of DUI due to his continued erratic driving behavior and continued to pursue him. The suspect vehicle drove through the Brainerd area and eventually came to a stop on Highway 153 Southbound. Following a brief foot pursuit, a man was taken into custody and charged with several violations to include Driving Under the Influence (Narcotics), Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangerment, Possession of Legend Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

24-015171 – 601 Justice Way – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was served with an East Ridge Warrant for shoplifting while in the custody of the Hamilton County Jail.

24-015180 – 500 BLK S Germantown Road – Burglar Alarm – Police responded twice to a burglar alarm at the clinic triggered by a hall motion sensor. No signs of intrusion were found. The responsible party was notified.
24-015191 – 700 BLK Eileen Lane – Intoxicated Person – Police found a person passed out in their car in a residential area. The individual, appearing intoxicated, was woken up, and a friend provided transportation.
24-015199 – 200 BLK Eads St – Auto Theft – A party reported her car stolen after being informed by Catoosa County that her roommate had wrecked the car and was arrested for DUI.
