Day Shift December 28, 2022
22-017535- 3800 BLK Kingwood Circle- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on the resident at this address. On scene officers attempted to make contact but no one appeared to be home.
22-017536- 3300 blk of Ringgold Road- Broken Down Vehicle- The caller advised of a vehicle blocking the turn lane. On scene officers assisted in moving the vehicle from the roadway.
22-017538- 500 BLK Wando Drive- Protection Order Violation- The complainant advised police she has a temporary order of protection against her ex-roommate. She advised the suspect violated the order of protection today by contacting her through text. Police performed a record check through dispatch that confirmed the temporary protection order. Police will seek warrants for violation of order of protection.
22-017541- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder- Police arrived on scene and spoke to the reporting party who advised the suspect had followed her to this location and blocked her vehicle refusing to allow her to leave. Police deescalated the disorder and both parties left the scene. A short time later police were dispatched in reference to a second disorder involving the two parties. It was determined Terri Quarles had followed the victim and her passenger to this location crossing into Georgia and using multiple surface streets before stopping. At this time Quarles was taken into custody for the charge of Stalking. Quarles was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on this charge with no issue.
22-017546- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Delayed Assault- Police arrived on scene and spoke with the reporting party. He advised on Christmas day he was picking up his children from his child’s mother at this location. He advised her boyfriend struck him in the face. Police do not have a full name for the suspect and the reporting party only wishes to file a report for record of the event.
Night Shift December 28-29, 2022
22-017568- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm-Burglar-Open Door- Police were dispatched to said location for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, police talked with a female who said she went in the store and did not find anyone. Police checked the interior and did not find anyone, also. No responsible was located. Police secured the doors.
22-017569- 3300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Vehicle-Misdemeanor Citation- During a contact with suspicious vehicle at this location police found a female in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited and released.
22-017570 – 608 S Moore Rd – Traffic Stop- Mark Bennett was taken into custody on an East Ridge forfeiture capias warrant for theft under $1,000.
22-017576- 3700 BLK Edwards Terrance- Burglary of a Vehicle- Police were called to the residence when the victim observed two males inside of his truck parked in the driveway. The suspects fled in a dark colored sedan before police arrival. No items were taken from the truck.
22-017577 – 1700 Mack Smith Road – Traffic Stop- Police attempted a traffic stop for a registration violation and the vehicle did not come to a stop until crossing the Georgia line. Officers made contact with the driver, Deanna Gaddis Douglass, who had verified warrants through East Ridge, Collegedale, and Hamilton County. Douglass was also in possession of a felony amount of methamphetamine, as well as syringes, two digital scales, and multiple clear baggies. Catoosa County arrived on scene and took Douglass into custody. She was issued several traffic citations.
