The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along reports.”
Dec. 1 Day Shift
3218 Gleason Drive (auto burglary):
The resident came out to his 2002 GMC truck this morning, and discovered unknown suspects had forced their way into his truck and drilled out the ignition in an attempt to steal it. They damaged parts of the interior and then stole miscellaneous clothing items after their theft of the truck failed.
305 Lynncrest Drive (agg. burglary):
The homeowner came home this afternoon to find his home forcibly entered by unknown suspects. Thieves broke through a back patio door and searched the house for valuables, making off with cash and a few electronic devices.
3619 Missionaire Avenue (warrant service):
Ilya Dyskin was taken into custody on multiple Hamilton County warrants.
3206 Gleason Drive (vandalism):
The homeowner noticed three bullet holes in her car after she got to work this morning. Damage to the passenger door consists of three hits where paint was knocked off and the projectiles ricocheted into the woods. There were reports of shots fired on 11-28-20 in the neighborhood.
819 S. Germantown Road (found property):
The groundskeeper at this residence found a black S&W M&P .38 Special snub nose revolver lying in the front yard. The revolver contained four live rounds and one spent casing.
3320 Ringgold Road (disorder):
Police responded to the laundry mat because a female refused to leave the property. Julie Tyler was subsequently found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was arrested and taken to jail.
4121 Ringgold Road (civil matter):
Police responded to a check cashing business after a woman and her mother got into an argument of money owed to each other. Both were advised the issue was civil.
5707 Ringgold Road (theft):
A Dollar General employee reported that she observing two black females steal unknown items from the store before leaving in a black Dodge Charger bearing a temp tag. The suspects were not located.

Night Shift
1417 St Thomas (Deceptive Practice 20-015796):
Officers made a return trip and spoke to the complainant from 11/30/20. She stated more funds had been taken from her Cash App account.
913 State Line Rd Apt 1103(Open Door 20-015841):
Police arrived and located an open window at the rear of the apartment. Officers made entry to check the apartment and didn’t locate anything out of place. The resident was contacted and advised of the issue. She stated she had used the window to access the apartment after locking her keys inside and had failed to secure it.
1450 Cracker Barrel (Disorder 20-015842):
Police responded to the Cracker Barrel after a customer became disorderly with employees. Hailey Wood had ordered and eaten a meal but did not bring funds to pay for the meal. As officers arrived Wood fled the Cracker Barrel and was apprehended in the parking lot of Waffle House. Wood was arrested and charged with Theft, Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
11 Woodard Cir (Deceptive Practice 20-015843):
Reporting party stated she had paid an online site for remote repairs to her cell phone. The reporting party became suspicious when the repair site was asking for payment using Google gift cards.
619 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Disorder 20-015845):
Off duty HCSO requested assistance in dealing with a disorder at Hampton Inn. Officers responded and transported a mental health consumer to Parkridge East.
3920 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Person 20-015848):
The store clerk called concerned about a possibly intoxicated female in the Dollar General who they believed was shoplifting. Officers arrived and made contact with the subject. The woman had paid for all merchandise in her possession and was not intoxicated.
5900 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-015851):
Police conducted a traffic stop for a light law violation. Dustin Morgan was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Xanax, Possession of THC Wax and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Heather Smith was arrested on an East Ridge warrant for Domestic Violence.
6642 Ringgold Rd (Robbery of Person 20-015853):
Caller reported her daughter was being robbed at the Econo Lodge. Police arrived and located several parties in room 213, including the alleged victim. The woman denied any robbery had taken place. She was however experiencing a medical emergency. EMS was summoned to transport the woman for medical treatment.
5301 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Vehicle 20-015857):
Police observed a white Ford Mustang on the parking lot of Walgreens parked across several parking spots. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle and learned one of the parties, Christa Stevens, had active warrants through East Ridge. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
941 Spring Creek Rd (Miscellaneous 20-015858):
Dispatch advised patrol officers to be on the lookout for a red Dodge truck with Grundy County registration plates. The vehicle was to be occupied by a female subject and she was believed to be overdosing. The only information supplied to police was the vehicle was believed to be in a parking lot in East Ridge. Within minutes officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of Parkridge East Hospital unoccupied. The female subject was not located.
