December 18 – Day Shift
951 Spring Creek Road (aggravated assault)
A man came to Parkridge East emergency room suffering from a gunshot wound. The man stated the shooting took place on I-24 west in East Ridge. The victim stated a black car drove past them on the interstate and fired multiple shots into the passenger side of the vehicle. The victim was struck in his left arm and stated he did not know the suspects. (21-018241)
South St. Marks Avenue (open door)
Police observed an open door at this address after seeing a Christmas tree and various Christmas decorations thrown onto the front yard. There were no indications of forced entry, but the living room had broken photos and items thrown around. Police made contact with the homeowner who stated she has been experiencing a stressful holiday season and was responsible for the tossed items. (21-018218)
3416 Land Street (suspicious activity)
Neighbor observed a subject coming out of the condemned structure with a backpack and leave in a silver Acura. Officers found an unlocked front door and cleared the residence. Officers secured the front door, but the rear door is off its hinges. Codes was messaged about the situation. (21-018232)
3725 Fountain Avenue (domestic disorder)
Neighbors called about a possible domestic altercation. Officers spoke with a man and his wife, who told police they were having a heated discussion but were not physically fighting. (21-018239)

December 18 – Night Shift
6642 Ringgold Rd. (Arrest 21-018277)
Police encountered Jessie Harmon and Brianna Martin outside the Econo Lodge. They were checked for warrants, and both were found to have active warrants out of Hamilton County Sessions Court.
4214 Ringgold Rd ( Warrant Service 21-018263)
Police arrested Kedrick Barnette on an East Ridge arrest warrant for Forfeiture Capias (vandalism)
4100 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-018274)
Police arrested Roblero Epifanio Manuel Velasquez at this location for public intoxication. This party had just left the Level-Up arcade.
106 Bales Ave (Suspicious Activity/Arrest 21-018275)
Officers responded to reports of suspicious activity and encountered five intoxicated parties in the driveway of this address. The parties had just left Level Up arcade and were continuing their night of partying in the driveway of a residence of which they had no affiliation. All five were taken into custody for charges ranging from underage consumption to public intoxication.
6700 Ringgold Road (Traffic Stop 21-018255)
Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6700 block of Ringgold Road with an improperly displayed tag. Upon contacting the driver, Dominick Cotton, he was found to have multiple warrants and have a revoked license for DUI. Cotton was arrested and transported without incident.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Back Up Other 21-018248)
ERPD was asked to attempt to locate a suspect vehicle at the Budgetel Inn relating to a disorder with a weapon in Chattanooga. Police were able to locate a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle at the Budgetel Inn. The suspect was listed to be staying in a room. Police attempted to contact the individual at the room but were unsuccessful.
1600 S Clayton (DUI Arrest 21-018276)
Landen Cooling was arrest for DUI during a traffic stop.
1220 Laredo Ave (Intoxicated Person 21-018260)
Jesus Baltazar Juarez was taken into custody for public intoxication during a disorder call at this location.
3400 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-018266)
Jose Mendez was taken into custody for DUI after police received a “be on the lookout” (BOLO) call about a vehicle being driven with two flat tires.
3801 Ringgold RD (Joyriding 21-018273)
Police responded to an auto theft call at Level Up. Investigation revealed the vehicle had been loaned to a friend and not returned, and that it had been crashed in Chattanooga earlier in the night. Report on file.

December 19 – Day Shift
3725 Fountain Avenue Apt. 53 (auto burglary):
The complainant reported an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot sometime overnight. A teal and gray skateboard-styled backpack containing a black 16” Lenovo laptop was taken. (21-018288).
3416 Land Street (criminal trespass)
This residence has been condemned by Codes. Today the neighboring resident behind this house on Bowen Road observed an unknown male partially park in her yard. The driver walked behind her house, jumped the fence and entered the condemned home through a basement door. Police contacted the property owner who failed to arrive when requested by dispatch. Police made entry into the home but did not locate anyone. Due to the volume of debris in the home, police could not determine if anyone was possibly hiding inside. The suspect’s vehicle, a silver Chevy Trax GA RVK-2991, was towed by Broome’s for being illegally parked. Codes was contacted about this ongoing problem. (21-018299)

December 19– Night Shift
6700 Ringgold Rd (Arrests 21-018316)
Officers observed a known wanted party, Daniel Morgan, in the passenger seat of a vehicle as it exited the parking lot of Econo Lodge. A traffic stop was initiated and Morgan was detained on Hamilton County Criminal Court warrants. During the traffic stop the driver, Jeremiah Holloway, was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Holloway was taken into custody for DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during a felony. Morgan was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
500 block Cedar Glen Circle (Domestic Assault 21-018308)
Police spoke with a male subject who advised his ex-girlfriend had beat him when returned home from work. Police spoke with three juveniles inside the residence who observed the assault take place. The ex-girlfriend was found to have multiple warrants but left the residence prior to police arrival.
6650 Ringgold Road (Welfare Check 21-018313)
The Coffee County Sheriff’s office called ERPD regarding a report of two females being held captive inside room 114 at one of the motels affiliated with the Wyndham Group near the Flea Market on Ringgold Road. Police checked every motel near the interstate, but were unable to locate any parties inside the associated room number at each motel.

Dekari Waight was arrested on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.
3508 Ringgold Rd (Deceptive Practice 21-018304)
Police responded to a deceptive practice call at the Walgreens. Staff informed police of a female who entered the store and fraudulently initiated a wire transfer of $3,000, as well as obtained a $490 gift card under false pretenses. Staff provided police with camera footage of the suspect, described as a female, 25-35 years of age, with long black hair wearing a dark colored shirt and a denim jacket. Police will follow up for possible identity information provided during the fraudulent transactions.
6600 Ringgold Road (Arrest 21-018311)
Nada Smith was taken into custody on a Red Bank warrant, following a traffic stop at this location.
