The East Ridge City Council will host a strategic planning session this week.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 5 at 3 p.m. at the Community Center on Tombras Avenue. Officials said the meeting is scheduled for four hours.
City officials said the council will hear from officials from the University of Tennessee’s Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS). Over the last few months, MTAS staff has been conducting an assessment of various department’s within city government.
East Ridge officials said the strategic planning session will focus on “visioning” and a mission statement for the city.
The meeting is open to the public.
