UPDATED: If your trash is normally picked up Wednesday (this Wednesday is New Year’s Day) it will be collected on Thursday (1-2-2020). If your trash is normally picked up on Friday (1-3-2020) there will be no change.
East Ridge city offices, library, services and court will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24 and 25, 2019, in observance of the Christmas holiday and Wednesday, January 1, 2020 for the New Year’s holiday.
The following schedule is for Sanitation Services – Note: there will be no bulk, brush or leaf pickup during these two weeks; all services will resume as regularly scheduled the week of January 6, 2020 – remember to place your carts to the curb the night before your pickup:
If your trash is picked up normally on Tuesday (12-24) it will be collected a day early on Monday, 12-23. If your trash is normally picked up on Wednesday (12-25), it will be collected on Thursday (12-26). For New Years, if your trashed is picked up on Wednesday (1-1) it will be picked up on Thursday (1-2-20)
If your recycling is usually picked up on Thursday (12-26) it will be picked up on Friday (12-27). If your recycling is picked up on Friday (12-27) there will be no change. And, for New Year’s if your trash is scheduled to be picked up on Friday (1-3) there will be no change.
The following schedule is for East Ridge City Court:
Court will be held on the
following dates and times during the two holiday weeks and will be for
in-custody cases only – there will be no traffic court cases
heard during this time:
- Monday, December 23 at 3:00pm
- Monday, December 30 at 3:00pm
City Court will resume its regularly scheduled dates and times the week of January 6, 2020.
