It took Catholic only three innings to trounce Brown Middle, 17-1, Thursday, in middle school baseball.
The road-win improved Catholic’s record to 11-2 on the season.
Cale Nausley pitched another gem, allowing only three hits and giving up one run.
Justin Allen was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, recording a pair of doubles and three RBI. Cooper Campbell reached on all four at-bats, knocking in a pair of runs.
Defensive standouts of note included Allen’s two put-outs at third base, while Campbell, the sure-handed shortstop, had a pair of put-outs. Nothing got by Aaron Bouchard, who patrolled right field like an overzealous neighborhood watch captain.
If you want to see these boys up-close and personal, you will have your chance on Monday, as Catholic hosts Hunter at the new OLPH field at 5 p.m.
