Catholic continued its winning ways with a 6-4 win over Bradley in Middle School baseball on Monday.
Catholic got on the board immediately with Cooper Grant and Patrick Donnelly each carding an RBI. The scoring continued in the third with Donnelly laying down a sacrifice bunt that brought a runner in, and Nicholas Pendergrass’ single plated another run.
Grant, the starter, struck out six and walked one without giving up a hit in two innings of scoreless ball. Jake Thomas., Ethan Land, Pendergrass, and Myles Pruitt came on in relief, shutting down Bradley hitting.
Donnelly led Catholic with a pair of RBIs. Grant, Jacob Wylie. and Pruitt each had two hits. Grant and Thomas recorded multiple steals in the contest.
Catholic will travel to Boyd-Buchanan on Wednesday. The Junior Varsity game will begin at 5 p.m., while the Varsity first pitch is slated for 6:15.
