Catholic Baseball sailed to an easy victory over Bradley Knights,10-1, on Tuesday.
Catholic Baseball opened up scoring in the first inning, when Aaron B. singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Catholic Baseball put up five runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Silas W. and Henry O, by Aaron, and a double by Ben F.
Aaron led things off on the hill for Catholic Baseball. The righty went three innings, allowing no runs on one hit and striking out seven.
The opposing pitcher allowed 10en hits and 10 runs over four innings, striking out six.
Henry, Silas, Parker C, and Jake T all had multiple hits for Catholic. Jake, Parker, Silas, and Henry each collected two hits to lead Catholic Baseball. Catholic’s defense was outstanding, committing no errors. Tre B had the most put-outs with 10.
Catholic will try to keep its winning ways as the team travels to Boyd-Buchanan on Monday. The JV game is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by the varsity at 7 p.m.
