Catholic Baseball rallied for an 11-6 win over Rhea County, Monday in Evensville.
Catholic trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Aaron Bouchard singled, driving in two runs. That opened up the flood gates, as Catholic pulled away for the win adding five more runs in the inning. The rally included Silas Wesson drawing a walk and plating a run; Cale Nausely was struck by a pitch that produced an RBI; and Ben Fillauer and Tre Borchers each drew walks which scored runs.
Nausely, a lefthander, was the starting pitcher. He struck out one and gave up three runs on five hits over three innings.
Catholic had eight hits in the game. Henry Osborne, Jake Thomas, and Bouchard all managed multiple hits for Catholic, now 3 and 6 on the year.
The defense played flawlessly, not committing an error in the game. Parker Coode had the most put-outs with four.
Catholic will try to improve on its winning ways on Thursday, as the team hosts Chattanooga Christian. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m.
