Police Need Help in Solving Car Burglaries

The East Ridge Police Department is investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Multiple vehicles in the Coleman Circle, John Ross Rd. and Laredo Ave. area were broken into and items taken. Some of the vehicles had windows smashed, while others were left unlocked, officials said.

The majority of the stolen items were electronics, GPS, cell phones and wallets. At this time, there are no suspects, so police are asking for any information from the public. The East Ridge Police Department Confidential Tip Line is 423.867.0016.

Police would like to remind people to remove their valuables, lock their vehicles, and report suspicious persons or vehicles in their neighborhoods. They can call the non-emergency 423.622.1725, or in an emergency, 911.
