Boyd Holding Town Hall Meeting

Hamilton County Commissioner Tim Boyd will hold a “Town Hall” meeting on Thursday in East Ridge.

The meeting will be held in the Community Center on Tombras Avenue from 6 to 7 p.m. In a Facebook post Boyd said the purpose of the meeting is to hear what voters have to say about their needs and concerns in Hamilton County.

Boyd, who represents District 8 which includes East Ridge, is seeking his third term on the commission. He is being opposed in the Republican Primary by East Ridge Mayor Brent Lambert. Early voting for the May 1 primary begins on April 11.

He was among reporters who were honored by the Associated Press for the TFP's coverage of the 2002 fog-shrouded crash on I-75 in Catoosa County, Dick and his wife, Cathy, live on Marlboro Avenue where they are seen frequently chasing around their three grandsons.
