Local Coffee of East Ridge and East Ridge Creative Arts (ERCA) are pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new featured event at our location in East Ridge.
Our community is very important to us, and we love promoting “all things local!” From our ARTBeat nights with local artists & musicians, to our baked goods & coffee served in the shop, to lots of events & meetings for our city administration, local schools and other community-focused entities, we’re excited to be expanding that local spotlight to include local authors from East Ridge, Chattanooga and North Georgia!
Our Local Books Book Signing event slated for Saturday, August 26, will feature several local authors, including Reggi Broach, Devon Eriksen, Scott Marshall and Barbara Tucker. The event will run from 10 am through 2 pm, allowing for plenty of time for avid readers and other authors or aspiring authors to chat with our featured authors and purchase a personally signed book or two.
Local book clubs and writers’ groups are encouraged to come support this event, and even consider our venue as a location for their meetings. With this inaugural book signing event, it is our hope to inspire future authors and create interest in these events becoming regularly scheduled attractions in the future.
East Ridge Creative Arts is a non-profit arts organization located in East Ridge, Tennessee, which exists to promote the development of arts and culture via performance and arts display events, as well as arts education. We are very pleased to begin promoting the literary arts as well. Local Coffee of East Ridge is exactly what its name implies – a truly local coffee shop. Local Coffee, at 4104 Ringgold Rd., provides a casual & comfortable environment conducive to remote work/study, meeting with friends, business gatherings and more.
Those interested in learning more about this or future events, or how they may become a supporter of the arts through ERCA may contact ERCA Directors Danny or Debbie Lance at 423-498-6060, or via email at [email protected].
