The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
August 20 – Day Shift
4112 Ringgold Rd – Possession of Schedule II –
Jeffrey Scott Callahan, Jr. was detained on Collegedale warrants following a consensual encounter. Upon searching Callahan, he admitted to having methamphetamine tucked in his sock in his boot. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
6514 Ringgold Rd – Disorder Prevention –
The reporting party requested police assistance in retrieving a purple Beretta handgun from his ex-girlfriend, who works at Dunkin’ Donuts. Police spoke with the ex-girlfriend, who claimed the gun was given to her as a present. Officers advised the reporting party of this and that if he wanted the firearm back then he would have to go through the civil court process. The reporting party did not appreciate this answer and surmised on his own that the gun was now stolen and wanted to report it as such. He was advised to speak with HCSO, as that was the jurisdiction in which the handgun was given.
5414 Marion Ave – Suspicious Person –
Police responded to this location after the homeowner received a notification through their home surveillance system of movement on their property. The caller stated he observed a black male with braids, wearing a gray shirt, and white shoes walking around in his backyard and looking into the vehicle parked there. Police contacted the caller and had him forward the video recording link to their email. Upon reviewing the video, police recognized the subject as a party observed at 5422 Marion Ave, earlier in the shift. Police returned to 5422 Marion and made contact with the party, identified as Chilynn W. When asked why he was in the backyard of this residence, he first denied being on the property, then after being shown his likeness on video, claimed he was using it as a cut-through despite there being fences on both sides of the property. Officers also made contact with Chilynn’s girlfriend at the 5422 address. Recently, Chilynn was the subject of a vanishing act on 08/14/20, after night shift made contact with both parties at the La Quinta Inn. The man was checked for warrants and his information was documented as well as being advised to stay off other people’s property.
Spring Creek Rd @ San Hsi – Traffic Stop –
James Goodrum was detained and transported to 601 Walnut St for HCSO after he was found to have county warrants for driving on revoked following a traffic stop during a school zone saturation.
1115 Altamaha St – Deceptive Practice –
Caller told resident he was with HCSO and that resident had warrants. Caller instructed victim that if he would put $20,000 on a CVS gift card then they wouldn’t send deputies to arrest him. Resident was advised NOT to send any money and block the caller.

August 20 –Night Shift
3504 Missionaire Ave (Juvenile Problem 20-010944):
A fifteen year old male juvenile was taken into custody for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in his home, making threatening comments to law enforcement and then causing a disturbance on neighboring property.
700 BLK of S Germantown Rd (Misdemeanor Citation 20-010951):
Police issued Detwoin Parks a misdemeanor citation after finding 12.8 grams of marijuana in his possession. Mr. Parks was a passenger on a traffic stop.
3700 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 20-010953):
Kimberly Masters was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was in possession of a plastic bag containing Fentanyl residue and a number of syringes. She was also charged with driving while revoked and served an East Ridge warrant for drug paraphernalia.

August 21 – Day Shift
912 Donaldson Road- Person Shot-
The multiple callers advised of a person shot in the parking lot. Upon arrival officers located a black male in the lot and began CPR. This incident is still under investigation.
201 Eads Street (Dogwood Place #236)- Vehicle Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke to the resident. She advised sometime during the nighttime hours someone entered her vehicle and took her wallet and its contents. There are no suspects.
529 Cedar Glen Circle- Vehicle Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke to the resident. She advised sometime during the nighttime hours someone entered her vehicle and ransacked the inside. She advised nothing appeared to have been stolen. There are no suspects.
6998 Tiffany Lane- Vehicle Burglary-
Upon arrival police spoke to the resident. She advised sometime during the nighttime hours someone entered her vehicle and took her purse with contents. There are no suspects.
490 Camp Jordan Parkway (Top Golf)- Found Narcotics-
While on patrol police were advised by a citizen of a baggie of marijuana on the property. Police took possession of the marijuana and entered it in property for disposal.
6500 Ringgold Road (Tip Top Food Mart)- Assault-
Upon arrival police met with the victim who stated the suspect, Danny Coleman, came to that location to meet him to pick up his kids. Once Coleman pulled up, he got out of his white 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and walked up to the victim and pulled at his face mask then hit him in the face. After the assault Coleman fled the scene in the Monte Carlo toward GA. The victim stated he did want to press charges for simple assault. Police will seek warrants for Coleman.

August 21 – Night Shift
1417 St Thomas / Disorder:
While located at the Motel 6 on a suspicious activity call, police were approached by hotel staff who advised there were four people fighting upstairs. Police contacted the parties and advised them hotel staff did not want them on the property. After leaving the property Michael Jordan chose to disregard directives from police and stood in the road yelling at police. Jordan was arrested for disorderly conduct.
201 Eads St:
The resident called to report that her unlocked vehicle had been entered between 1600 hours on 8/20/20 and 1924 hours on 8/21/20. Nothing was taken and there was no damage to the vehicle. She stated that she suspects juveniles that live in the apartment complex and requested extra patrol.
1500 Prater Road / Felony Evading:
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Infiniti G35 bearing TN registration 933AE5 in the 1500 block of Prater Road for a speeding violation. The vehicle failed to stop for police and continued into Georgia at a high rate of speed. Police did not pursue.
501 S Seminole / Property Damage:
The resident reported a bullet going through her living room window at around 0117 hours. Police responded and observed a small hole in the living room window that police estimated was caused by a small caliber firearm. The resident and her roommate advised that they did not hear a gunshot and only realized something happened when the bullet went through the window. Police also spoke to neighbors who advised that they did not hear any gunshots. The bullet was not located.
1200 McBrien Road/Traffic Stop-Misdemeanor Citation:
Manuel Bravo Vicente was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Suspended and traffic citations for speeding and no proof of insurance.
