The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
August 15 – Day Shift
4112 B Cresthaven Drive (domestic assault):
The complainant contacted police after being assaulted by his brother, Chandler Blalock. Police observed marks of an assault and Chandler Blalock admitted to striking his brother. Chandler Blalock was taken into custody.
201 Eads Street (suspicious activity):
A woman called police after an unseen person knocked on her door this afternoon and left a jar with drawings of a man’s head with blood and brains coming out along with a note stating, “from your friendly neighbors.” The woman has no idea who could be responsible, because everyone at her residence keeps to themselves.
1000 Bass Pro Drive (auto theft recovery):
Bass Pro employees called police in reference to an abandoned vehicle on their lot. The truck, a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, was found to have been reported stolen. The owner was contacted, and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.

August 15 – Night Shift
1417 St Thomas (AOA Warrants):
Officer made contact with a party driving a vehicle with a tag belonging on another vehicle. Tiffany Bozza was found to have Collegedale Warrants. She was detained for Collegedale. While trying to make contact with Bozza a second female fled into an unknown room. Police were unable to locate Haley Kennedy who was found to have numerous warrants out of multiple jurisdictions. Warrants will be sought against Kennedy for Evading.
1524 Keeble St (Possible Burglary 20-010693):
Police received third party information someone had entered a home under construction. Police notified the contractor who was unable to respond to the scene. Police noted there were fresh wet footprints inside.
941 Springcreek Rd (Suspicious Activity/AOA Warrant Arrest):
Vanessa Culley was detained and transported to the Hamilton County Jail after Parkridge East request police investigate her for suspicious activity in the parking lot.
6100 Marietta Rd (Suspicious Vehicle):
RP stated loud truck kept circling the area. Truck was located and parties were looking for their dogs.
6600 Ringgold Rd (Pursuit/AOA Arrest):
East Ridge Police were notified at approximately 0207 hours, Chattanooga PD was in two separate pursuits near our city. Both pursuits involved violent felonies. It became clear through dispatch one vehicle was occupied by heavily armed homicide suspects. ERPD set units up along streets leading in from Chattanooga. The first ERPD officer to encounter the pursued vehicle relayed only one CPD officer was in pursuit of the vehicle occupied by the armed homicide suspects. At different times through the city of East Ridge multiple ERPD officers attempted to aid Chattanooga. The pursuit continued into Catoosa County where Sheriff’s Deputies and FT Oglethorpe Police became involved. The decision was made to once again have officers stage at our boundaries and attempt deploying spike strips should the pursuit return to East Ridge. The pursuit did in fact return to East Ridge on HWY 41 where the spike attempt was made and the suspect vehicle avoided them. The suspect vehicle crashed a short time later on the north exit ramp to I-75. The parties fled the vehicle and were apprehended. Firearms were located in the vehicle. The Toyota had been reported stolen the previous day. No officers were injured during the incident.

August 16 – Day Shift
1410 Mack Smith Road (disorder):
Police spoke with the reporting party and front desk clerk of the Budgetel. The reporting party stated Damarcus Brown was cursing and yelling at the security guard while trying to fight him. At the reporting party’s request, Brown was criminally trespassed from the property. Brown left without incident.
3400 Lisa Drive (misdemeanor citation):
Marlon Eberhardt was issued a misdemeanor citation at this location for simple possession of marijuana.
Lovell Avenue (auto burglaries):
Sometime overnight vehicles at 721, 723, and 712 S. Lovell Avenue were entered and rummaged through by an unknown suspect. All vehicles had been left unlocked.
Maryland Drive (auto burglaries):
Sometime overnight vehicles at 4904 and 4906 Maryland Drive were entered and rummaged through by an unknown suspect. All vehicles had been left unlocked. Only one victim had anything stolen, which was a laptop computer.

August 16 – Night Shift
613 S Moore Rd (Theft From Vehicle 20-010738):
Monique Pitner reported on the morning of this date someone entered her vehicle and took a tactical knife.
1100 Altamaha (Wires Down 20-010739):
Assisted Fire and EPB with traffic control after a tree fell on power lines creating a power outage.
800 S Germantown Rd (Fleeing Vehicle):
Police initiated a traffic stop on a newer model Dodge Charger with a very loud muffler. The vehicle failed to stop for police and was driving in oncoming traffic lanes. Police deactivated all emergency equipment and discontinued their attempts to stop the vehicle.
1911 Bowen Rd (Suspicious Vehicle 20-010740):
Party requested police check the area around her home after a neighbor advised her a dark colored Chevrolet Blazer was observed in front of her house. The party claimed her neighbor thought the vehicle may be stalking her. Nothing was located when police arrived.
4030 Dellway Cir (Assault/Vandalism 20-010753):
Police made a return visit to this residence after the female was released from Parkridge East. Family members and friends stated she was destroying furniture, throwing things, putting holes in walls and threatening parties in the residence. She was charged with Assault and Vandalism. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
714 S Germantown Rd (Suspicious Party 20-010747):
Police made contact with a suspicious female in the 700 block of S Germantown Rd who was observed flagging down vehicles. An identity check revealed Emily Herrell had warrants through Catoosa County. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
6600 Ringgold Rd (Misdemeanor Citation 20-010743):
Cody Henderson was misdemeanor cited for driving while revoked.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 20-010752):
Arrest warrant was served on Anthony Cardenas at the Hamilton County Jail.
1 Bloom Rd (Burglary in Progress 20-010755):
Police responded to report of a burglary in progress. Caller stated 2 white males and a black male had entered a neighbor’s vehicle at 4 Bloom Rd. RP stated they apparently had parked near the cul-de-sac and fled the area in an unknown vehicle. RP stated the parties appeared to be juveniles. Contact was made with the owners of the burglarized vehicle. They confirmed the vehicle had been entered but didn’t believe anything was taken.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Assault 20-010756):
A female subject stated she was assaulted by Neil Bryant Jr. She went on to state he was no longer on scene. Police arrived and observed physical signs of assault. Warrants will be sought for Bryant’s arrest.
