The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
Aug. 12 Day Shift
Stolen Vehicle Recovery-
Chattanooga Police reported that a Subaru Outback stolen out of East Ridge was recovered at 3002 Campbell Street in Chattanooga, TN. The vehicle was picked up by Reliable Towing and moved to their business location. The vehicle owner was notified of the recovery and the vehicle was removed from NCIC. Nothing else follows.
Stolen Vehicle Recovery-
Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office contacted police concerning a stolen vehicle recovery. Deputies recovered a stolen Honda Accord located next to the roadway near 1429 Rackley Drive in Dalton, GA. A Georgia ID and credit cards were in the vehicle near the driver’s seat. Whaley’s Towing responded to the scene and towed the vehicle to their business location on 1909 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721. The owner was notified, and the vehicle was removed from NCIC.
6727 Ringgold Road (Wendy’s)- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised he observed a white male and a black male dragging a white female into the woods. Upon arrival police checked the area around the creek and under the bridge. No one fitting the descriptions given were located.
5300 blk of Ringgold Road (Construction Site)- Building Collapse-
The caller advised the front overhang of the building fell and crushed a gas main. Upon arrival Fire was able to shut off the gas. Per the construction workers the front overhang was pulled from the building on purpose.
1804 McBrien Road- Disorder-
The caller advised Sconda Teems was causing a disorder at this address. Upon arrival police located Teems on Prigmore Road. She was taken into custody on East Ridge warrants.
Key West Avenue @ State Line Road- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised a white female walked up from Georgia and asked for them to call police. The female then walked off. Upon arrival in the area police located Andrea J. at Springvale Park. This was the second encounter with Andrea today. Upon speaking with her she advised she was trying to return home to Oak Ridge, TN. Police gave her a ride to Lee Highway @ I-75.
1611 East Ridge Avenue- Theft-
The complainant called to report the theft of his miter saw from this address. He advised sometime between 2300 8-10 and 0800 8-11 an unknown suspect entered the job site and took the saw. He suspects a white male and female in a gray minivan that he encountered on 8-10 at the address appearing to be snooping around. There is no further suspect information.
600 blk of South Seminole Drive- Shots Fired-
The multiple callers advised of approximately 5 to 6 shots heard in the area. Upon arrival police checked the surrounding area and recovered one shell casing. Nothing else located.

Night Shift
3400 Gail Drive/Shots Fired-Agg. Assault and Vandalism:
Police were sent for multiple shots fired. Shell casing were located on the roadway. Two cars and two houses were damage by gun fire. Witnesses described an older model black Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows (suspect vehicle) fled south after the shots were fired. One of the suspects described by the witnesses is as follows: black male, 6’ 02’’ in height, skinny build, wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. 9mm and FN 5.7 brass were recovered.
5354 Matthews Drive / Aggravated Assault:
Police responded to Parkridge East on a report of a delayed assault. An unknown black female knocked on the door and threw gasoline in a man’s face before running to a white car or truck and leaving the scene. The man’s brother was also splashed while trying to pull him back inside. There is no other suspect information at this time.
1400 San Hsi Dr/Arrest:
Joshua Remington was arrested for poss. of meth, poss. of Xanax, poss. of marijuana and criminal impersonation at this location following a traffic stop at this location. Catherine Brown was arrested on a Catoosa County Warrant.
