The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
Aug. 9 Day Shift
4338 Ringgold Rd./Disorder (21-011380):
Two women at Food Lion got into a heated verbal disagreement much to the surprise of a store full of customers. According to witnesses one woman made a comment about the lack of cashiers to a cashier. Another woman made an off-hand comment to the original complaining customer, which ignited the situation. Both women began yelling and screaming at each other, using profanity, and appearing to be on the verge of a physical confrontation according to other bewildered customers. Police arrived and stood by as both women left.
1410 Mack Smith / Citizen Assist (21-011372):
A woman called from the hospital because she could not get a hold of her former husband/currently estranged boyfriend, with whom she shares a room at Budgetel. The boyfriend was not located at the couple’s room and would not answer his phone for her or Dispatch. According to the woman, her boyfriend has her car and has taken her money.
500 S Moore Road/Driving on revoked (21-011376):
Tomas Miguel was arrested for driving on revoked for DUI at this location following a traffic stop.
1600 block Glowmont Drive/Domestic Assault (21-011375):
Police came into contact with a 14-year-old male juvenile. The juvenile stated he wanted to go outside and play basketball. The juvenile stated his mother told him he couldn’t. The juvenile stated he grabbed his phone and went to his room. After a physical struggle over the cell phone and a belt, the act of simple domestic assault occurred. The juvenile was left with his mother until in the morning where the attachments will be sought and the juvenile will be arrested for simple domestic assault. Child Protective Services will be contacted as well.
1230 Reeves Ave/Theft (21-011374):
The complainant reported someone stole his lawnmower within the last two weeks. No suspect information.

3715 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-011386):
April Forster was detained on Hamilton County warrants and transported to Silverdale.
4145 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-011387):
The reporting party stated they had seen several juveniles entering and exiting a vacant apartment. Nothing was located by police.
6600 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-011389):
Kaci Calfee was taken into custody for DUI and open container law violation following a traffic crash. Rush Peace was arrested for disorderly conduct and DUI after he arrived on scene and interjected himself into a DUI investigation
4314 Ringgold Rd (Unwanted Party 21-011394):
Police responded to East Ridge Cab Company on an unwanted party. Ronald C. was on the porch of the business refusing to leave. He was checked for warrants by officers and sent on his way.
6708 Ringgold Rd (Mental Health/Arrest 21-011396):
Police were flagged down by a party about a male subject in mental health crisis at the Circle K. Officers made contact with the male subject, who was found to have domestic assault warrants through Hamilton County. He was detained and transported to Silverdale.
6513 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-011397):
A woman was causing a disorder in the Waffle House and refusing to leave. When police arrived, she was checked for warrants and told to leave. She complied with the order.
974 McBrien Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-011398):
The reporting party stated he heard a male party singing and then observed a male subject on his porch. Officers located the man in the Walgreen’s parking lot. He explained to officers he was of direct Cherokee lineage and lived off the land. He was advised to stay off land owned by others. He is a mental health consumer who is well known by several officers who previously worked in the Ooltewah area.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-011404):
Police once again encountered the man earlier encountered on McBrien Road. Mapco staff summoned officers to their location because the man was yelling at customers. He was advised to leave the property and not return.
951 McBrien Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-011408): The reporting party stated occupants of 2 SUVs, one light colored and one dark, were attempting to enter vehicles in the area. Police responded but did not locate the suspicious vehicles.
4145 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-011410):
Officers responded to reports of two male juveniles attempting to enter vehicles in the Lomenacque Apartment complex. The subjects were not located by police.
