April 24 – Day Shift
1417 St. Thomas Street (found property):
Motel staff found a full size BB pistol in one of their rooms. The room had last been registered to a man who has an extensive criminal record. The BB gun was entered into Property and Evidence. (21-005365)

3805 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-005649):
Staff at Amigo’s requested assistance with a customer who was shouting profanities at employees. The subject was gone when police arrived.
1417 Mack Smith Rd (Disorder 21-005650):
Police responded to reports of an elderly male causing a disruption in the lobby of East Ridge Retirement Center. Officers spoke with the party who suffers from dementia. He eventually went back into his room for the evening.
35 Frawley Rd (Check Hazard 21-005652):
Police responded to reports of a tree blocking the roadway.
1417 St Thomas St (Arrest 21-005656):
Justina Lewis was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine during a consensual contact by officers. Ronald Baldwin was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
3300 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-005658):
Pasqual Escobar was taken into custody for DUI, criminal impersonation, and driving while suspended during a traffic stop. He also had active warrants through Hamilton County. When Pasqual’s father arrived to pick up his vehicle it was learned Lucas Escobar’s license was revoked. He was issued a misdemeanor citation.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-005660):
Steven Pickett was taken into custody for public intoxication after attempting to shoplift items at Mapco.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Domestic Assault 21-005665):
Lakita Smith was taken into custody for domestic assault after officers observed her hitting her boyfriend.
3204 Gleason Dr (Shots Fired 21-00566):
Police responded to reports of multiple shots being fired. Officers arrived and located a silver Chevrolet with damage possibly sustained by gunfire. The door to the residence had been forcefully opened. CID responded and processed the scene. Potential victims were contacted and they refused to return to the residence to speak with police.

April 25 – Day Shift
5346 Ringgold Road (squatters):
Police responded to the Kimberly Apartments about an unknown 911 call. While there police discovered two homeless people squatting in the standalone garage located on the property. A field interview was conducted on Travis and Crystal. The pair was instructed to leave the property and were given the contact number for Chattanooga’s homeless coordinator. They left for Chattanooga. (21-005682)
Altamaha Street at Connell Street (arrest):
Police responded to the general area about a number of Hispanic males drinking in the roadway. Police arrested a 17-year-old male for underage consumption and simple possession of marijuana. (21-005672)
6514 Ringgold Road (suspicious person):
Police responded to Mapco about a homeless man who was urinating on the side of the building. The man claimed to be picking up trash. He was made to leave the property. (21-005683)
5 Belvoir Circle (theft):
The resident reported the theft of his Black Max weed eater. He stated he observed a male subject steal the weed eater and drive off in a Dodge Journey. (21-005671)

April 25 – Night Shift
929 Spring Creek Rd (Vehicle vs Building 21-005691):
Police responded to reports that a gold Honda had struck the Physician’s Building at Parkridge East. While en route officers learned the driver had fled on foot. Police made contact with Jackie Sewell at the corner of Gaston and Yale. Sewell initially told police someone else was driving his vehicle but after a brief investigation it was determined Sewell was the driver. Sewell was taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident, driving while revoked and driving without insurance. There was substantial damage to an exterior wall of the building.
4300 Bennett Rd (Arrest 21-005695):
Dominic Nance was taken into custody for possession of marijuana for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
6000 Ringgold Rd (Misdemeanor Citation 21-005696):
Kelsea Dye was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-005701):
Christy Shrader was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-003314):
James Works was arrested on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
6519 Ringgold Rd (Stolen Vehicle Recovery 21-005705):
Police recovered a stolen GMC Yukon and a stolen license plate at The Super 8 Motel.
5714 Ringgold Rd (Theft in Progress 21-005711):
Officers responded to a possible theft in progress at Walter’s Automotive Service. The reporting party believed someone was attempting to steal the catalytic converter from one of the vehicles they are servicing. The subject was gone when police arrived.
