April 17 – Day Shift
22-005329- 4100 blk of Ringgold Road- Hit and Run-
Following a traffic crash at this location a male driver fled the scene on foot north on Belvoir Avenue. Officers searched the surrounding neighborhoods but did not locate the driver. Later in the shift officers spotted the suspect in the 3600 block of Ringgold Road. Jose Sebastian was arrested and charged accordingly.

4214 Ringgold Rd/ Warrant service:
Dustin Walton was served on an outstanding warrant for violation of an order of protection. 22-004232
4222 Ringgold (Speedway): Citizen Assist/Mental Health Consumer-
The clerk of the speedway called in to report a male acting strangely. Once on scene officers identified the subject, who advised he had not been taking his medication and wanted to speak to a medical professional at Joe Johnson. He was transported per his request. 22-005337
5500 Ringgold Road / DUI:
Police conducted a traffic stop at this location for a speeding violation and a light law violation. The driver, Judith Grant, was suspected of driving under the influence based on several factors. Grant refused to perform field sobriety testing and attempted to pull away from officers to avoid being taken into custody. She was charged with DUI, implied consent, and resisting arrest. 22-005338
3314 Navajo Dr/ Public Intoxication:
Police responded to the area and located Julie Fitzgerald on foot. Fitzgerald was under the influence of alcohol and drugs to the point she was a danger to herself. She was placed under arrest for public intoxication. 22-005341
370 Camp Jordan Road/Narcotics violation:
A consensual encounter was initiated with a suspicious vehicle at this location. The occupants, James Mathis and Amber Mathis were found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Suspected narcotics were seized and placed into evidence. Warrants will be obtained at a later date. 22-005343

April 18 – Day Shift
1410 Mack Smith Road (assault call):
Police responded to the Budgetel concerning a bloody woman screaming for help in a room. Police spoke with the woman who was not injured and had not been assaulted. (22-005359)
6117 Sherwood Drive (assist ERFD):
The resident’s microwave caught fire requiring the home to be evacuated. (22-005371)
East Ridge tunnels (tractor trailer):
An eighteen wheeler attempted to enter the tunnel and had to be assisted with turning around. (22-005381)
558 Wando Drive (theft from auto):
The resident reported the unwanted entry of her vehicle during the overnight hours. The complainant advised her purse, ID, and debit card were taken. The cards were later used at various locations on Brainerd Road. (22-005372).
4214 Ringgold Road (citizen assist):
A man came to the police department seeking help from police. He is a mental health consumer off his medications and was transported by police to Parkridge East Hospital. (22-005378)

Mystica Brown was arrested on outstanding East Ridge warrant(s)
1832 Old Ringgold Road (22-005412)
Catoosa County pursued and identified a vehicle returning to this address. ERPD located the vehicle at this address. ERPD, CPD, HCSO CCSO assisted in identifying the driver, Joshua Varner. Catoosa will be seeking warrants.
941 Spring Creek Rd (22-005398):
DCS contacted police regarding a drug exposed child. DCS reported that the mother tested positive for amphetamines and THC after admission to the hospital. It was unknown if the newborn tested positive as well.
5301 Ringgold Road (Arrest 22-005390):
Police responded to this location in reference to a male attempting to collect a forged prescription. On scene police made contact with Kenneth Starling who was subsequently charged with Prescription Drug Fraud and Possession of Marijuana with Intent To Distribute.
22-005400: 3616 Wimberly Lane: AOA-
Units responded to this address in reference to a possible domestic. The altercation was only verbal; however, Rebecca Sparks, aka Rebecca Rodriguez, was found to have multiple active warrants out of Catoosa. Sparks was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.
1410 Mack Smith Road (Overdose 22-005404):
Police were called to the Budgetel regarding an Unconscious male. Upon arrival, police located the man unconscious on the floor. ERFD and EMS arrived on scene and provided medical attention. He regained consciousness. When asked how many times in the past has Narcan been used on him, he stated over fifty. OD report completed in portal.
541 Cedar Glen Cir (Vandalism 22-005416):
Police took a report of a vehicle which had been vandalized. The complainants advised that two females had broken out the rear window of his vehicle with a cinder block. The complainants provided suspect information. Warrants will be sought.
