The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
April 10 – Day Shift
6721 Ringgold Road (theft): Two females entered the Family Dollar store as it opened. While the assistant manager was helping another customer, she heard the alarm go off indicating someone was going out the door with stolen merchandise. The manager recognized the voice of one of the suspects as a known shoplifter from the Chattanooga area. The two suspects made off with a buggy of detergent. (22-004976)
6725 Ringgold Road (theft):
A woman found herself abandoned by a so-called friend of the family at the Chattanooga Mercantile. The friend insisted the woman leave her purse and contents inside his car before they entered the store. He turned off his phone after stealing the victim’s belongings and disappearing. Other family members in Cleveland were not able to help her get home. Police contacted other agencies north of East Ridge and arranged a relay to get the victim to her Cleveland home.(22-004988)
Glowmont Drive at State Line Road (indecent exposure:
On Saturday at around 1700 hours a male driving a black four door car called a thirteen-year-old female to his vehicle to ask directions. Upon approaching the vehicle, the suspect was observed masturbating. The vehicle had been in the immediate area for a while prior to this. (22-004982)

April 10 – Night Shift
1509 Tombras Avenue (Disorder with a Weapon 22-005002):
Police were dispatched to Pioneer Frontier playground in response to a juvenile threatening to stab another juvenile with a knife. On scene police determined threats were made but that no weapon was involved. A report is on file with the SRO for East Ridge Middle where the offender attends.
3404 Navajo Drive (Drug Arrest 22-004999):
Janice Hicks (Brumlow) was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine (3.5 grams), Possession of Schedule II, Possession of Schedule IV and Driving While Revoked for DUI following a traffic stop.
3300 Block Navajo Drive (Evading 22-005006):
Police attempted to stop a black Dodge Charger on Navajo Drive. After the vehicle pulled into a driveway it quickly exited, fleeing north on Vista Drive toward Brainerd Road. The vehicle had dark tint, passenger side damage, and newer navy-blue TN tag with unknown numerics. Vehicle was driven by a younger male party.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 22-0049998):
Police served Xavier Bonner with an East Ridge arrest warrant, after he was encountered by Chattanooga police.
I-75SB (Evading 22-005005):
Police attempted to stop a vehicle after it was observed to be following another vehicle too closely on I-75 southbound. The driver decided to flee police at a high rate of speed. Report on file.
1400 San Hsi Dr. (resisting arrest 22-005009):
Police arrested Tyran Mccorskey after he resisted arrest during a traffic stop. Mccorskey was also charged with simple possession.
4222 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 22-005012):
Police were flagged down by several individuals regarding a male acting suspiciously at the ATM’s at Speedway and the First Bank across Ringgold Road. Police made contact with the male on Tombras Ave. The man was found to have several credit/debit cards in his possession that did not belong to him. Police will follow up regarding possible fraudulent credit/debit card use.
