The East Ridge Police Department is seeking participants for its Spring Citizen’s Police Academy.
The second class of its kind will begin on March 30, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 10 weeks. The citizen’s academy is aimed at familiarizing our citizens with the various aspects of the law enforcement profession.
During these training sessions representatives from various divisions within the police department will conduct presentations and demonstrations on a variety of topics including but not limited to: Uniform Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Traffic Enforcement, K-9 Unit, and much more.
The ultimate goal of the police academy is for you to partner with your police department and improve our community, ERPD officials said.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn about your police department – what they do and why they do it. This is also a great opportunity to become more involved in your community and network with others throughout the community.
