Aug. 2 Day Shift
6728 Ringgold Rd (Theft 22-010851):
A recreational vehicle was entered at Camping World and several items were missing, the registration plate was also stolen
6900 block Tiffany Lane (Extortion 22-010868):
The complainant stated he received multiple text messages and a threatening video on his cell phone accusing him of “messing” with a Mexican drug cartel’s woman and demanding payment immediately (20 minutes) of $1,500 by electronic means.
6112 Shallowford Road Warrant Service (22-010853):
Police responded to the Tennessee Probation Office at this location and arrested Scott Benn on multiple East Ridge Warrants. Benn was transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issue. Report on file.
941 Ringgold Road (Psych Emergency 22-010863):
Police responded to Parkridge East Emergency department in reference to a combative Psych patient. Police arrived on scene and located a male subject barricaded in a room and swinging a metal fixture. While attempting to detain the male, police deployed a department issued X26P taser. The taser was effective and the male was detained at which time the hospital staff delivered sedatives to the male. The male was left under the care of hospital staff. Police returned to service following completion of report.

6642 Ringgold Road / Felony Evading (22-010878):
Aaron Thomas Parker ran from police when attempted to stop. Parker has several verified warrants.
5755 Ringgold Rd/ DUI (22-010901):
Police observed a suspicious vehicle at this location. After contacting the driver, Andrew Stead Coots, he was determined to be DUI and placed under arrest.
6642 Ringgold Rd/ Attempted Warrant Service:
Police attempted to make contact with Aaron Parker at the Econo Lodge in room 119 regarding several warrants through sessions court. While in the area Parker was seen driving up to the hotel. Police attempted a traffic stop but Parker recklessly fled from police. Police did not attempt to pursue per department policy. Additional Warrants are being taken by East Ridge Police.
6200 Holiday Drive / Arrest-DUI (22-010882):
Jermaine A. Zied was arrested for DUI, Implied Consent, Driving While Suspended, Simple Possession of Controlled Substance, Failure to Signal, and Open Container.
7609 Standifer Gap Road / Arrest (22-010809):
Joshua LiShun Brewer was arrested on charges of Theft of Property and Criminal Impersonation.
100 Interstate 75 NB / Crash-Property Damage (22-010903):
A north bound tractor-trailer traveling in the #1 north bound lane changed lanes taking the exit to Interstate 24 WB. This lane change was made in front of two other north bound tractor-trailer causing a three-vehicle crash.
