June 28 Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Codie Smolik turned himself in to the East Ridge Police Department for an outstanding active warrant he had for vandalism. He was transported to the jail without incident. (22-008606).
4214 Ringgold Road (drug info):
A woman who wished to remain anonymous told police there are drugs being sold out of an address on John Ross Road. Although she had not actually seen any of the dealings she got the information from a friend who buys drugs from that location. (22-009129)
3636 Ringgold Road (assist EMS):
An elderly gentleman was having cardiac issues of some kind when he was trying to park at the food store. Another woman was pushing her buggy past his car and tempers flared. Several others got involved and the perception was he was trying to run over shoppers with his car. EMS arrived and examined the elderly driver and determined it was a medical crisis the man was experiencing. (22-009135)
326 Tanager Circle (aggravated assault):
Warrants were taken out for Lawrence Sabian Douglas following an assault. (22-009122)

Night Shift
482 McBrien Rd (Theft/Arrest 22-009178):
Officers responded to a report of a male suspect attempting to remove a catalytic converter from a Toyota Tacoma in the parking lot of the At Home Store. When police arrived on scene, a male and female subject fled on foot. The male subject, later identified as Lavon Stewart, was chased, tased and taken into custody. The female, Jahala Sanders, was chased and taken into custody without incident. Both are charged with the attempted theft of the catalytic converter and evading. Stewart is additionally charged with possession of burglary tools. Stewart was found to have multiple warrants through Hamilton County including one for aggravated assault. The subjects of this event are residents of the Budgetel.
4145 East Ridge Dr (Animal Call 22-009161):
Police were dispatched due to a sick puppy found in the reporting party’s backyard. Animal Services was contacted and will get the puppy in the morning.
1483 Mack Smith Rd (Suspicious Person 22-009167):
A citizen called stating he was walking home intoxicated when two homeless males threatened him. Police checked the area and did not locate anyone.
1483 Mack Smith Rd (DUI 22-009170):
Edward Hernandez was arrested for DUI, Reckless Driving, and Disorderly Conduct after officers observed him nearly crash his vehicle over a raised sidewalk.
1100 Spring Creek Road (Field Interview 22-009157):
Officers were dispatched to this area regarding a male party walking down the road only wearing a hospital gown. Police made contact with the subject. The man stated he was going home to the Budgetel. Police were informed the man left the hospital against medical advice. Officers asked if he wanted to go back to the hospital, he stated no. Police gave the man a ride home.
704 South Seminole Drive (Theft 22-009165):
The complainant reported the theft of his motorcycle registration plate from this location. It is unknown when it was taken. The plate was entered in to NCIC as stolen
1517 Tombras Ave (Warrant Service 22-009139):
Sandy Wilkey (AKA Sandy Brown) was taken into custody on two outstanding East Ridge warrants during court and transported to jail.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Suspicious Activity 22-009172):
Police received a tip about possible drug manufacturing and distribution at the Budgetel. Report was completed to be forwarded to criminal investigations.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Disorder 22-009175):
Officers responded to a report of a woman banging on doors with a bat. On arrival police could not locate the woman, and no one responded when police knocked on the door of the room she resides in. Security advised they did not wish to enter her room to have her removed and would deal with the issue the following day.
