May 02 – Day Shift
5911 Ringgold Road (miscellaneous):
An employee of Tweety’s Auto Mart called police after seeing a resident in the 1400 block of Sunnyfield Lane standing in the yard with a rifle prior to leaving in a dark colored vehicle. Police did not locate the vehicle and could not determine anything illegal had occurred. (22-006132)
5300 block Dupont Street (mental illness):
A crises case worker requested police check on a female subject who needed to go to Joe Johnson Mental Health Hospital. Upon locating her, she did request transport to Joe Johnson’s. (22-006146)

May 02 – Night Shift
1000 block Le Clercq Dr (verbal disorder 22-006154):
Police responded to this location in regard to a verbal disorder. Two mental health consumers were involved in an on-going dispute. Officers responded to aid and helped deescalate the issue.
4214 Ringgold Rd (warrant service 22-006159):
Police arrested Katie McCary for an outstanding East Ridge arrest warrant.
4214 Ringgold Road (Theft 22-006156):
The complainant requested to report her U-Haul truck as stolen. She advised it was stolen by a male named Nick who she assumed would return the vehicle to U-Haul. She advised there was a man named Nick selling a U-Haul for $500 on South Seminole. The U-Haul was located and determined to be stolen but was not the same vehicle. The complainant did not have appropriate paperwork to report the vehicle as stolen and was advised to return when she could provide the VIN and contract with U-Haul.
1029 S Seminole (warrant service 22-006157):
Police arrested Brandon Laymon for an arrest warrant out Georgia.
4300 Ringgold Road (DUI 2nd 22-006164):
Kevin Bailiff was arrested for DUI 2nd Offense following a traffic stop at this location.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Stolen Vehicle Recovery 22-005917):
Blount County Sheriff’s Office reported they recovered a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt in their jurisdiction. Natalie Baker was arrested during the recovery.
