East Ridge Residence, an independent living community, is welcoming Jessica Harthorn as the new Community Relations Director. She started on April 18, 2022.

You may recognize her smile: Jessica was a morning anchor for WTVC NewsChannel 9’s Good Morning Chattanooga. Jessica spent 16 years in television news. Her journalism career took her family across the country where her work was recognized with several prestigious awards in Wyoming, New York, Michigan, and Tennessee. She was also an adjunct professor for the Department of Communication at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Jessica is a Michigan native and graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids. She and her husband, Steven, have two daughters, Lillian and Grace. They love to travel with their Goldendoodle, Jack, and enjoy camping, kayaking, and hiking.
