Catholic downed the Chattanooga Patriots, 14-1, at OLPH, Saturday in middle school baseball.
The win was number 13 on the season for Catholic, against only three losses. Catholic will host Silverdale on Monday at 4:14 p.m. It’s Luau night! Come dressed in your Hawaiian shirt and there will be leis handed out to the first 100 fans.
The outcome of the game was in no suspense from the beginning, as Catholic scored five runs in the first inning, tacked on three in the second and six in the third.
Charlie Hunt went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI. Justin Allen was 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Cooper Campbell was also 3-for-4 with a double and a single.
Hunt was the starting pitcher and pitched two innings striking out six while allowing no hits. Jake Thomas came on in relief giving up the only run.
