January 16 – Day Shift
Waterhouse Street (suspicious activity)
A motorist observed a small grey SUV driving erratically on Waterhouse Street after turning off Ringgold Road. The vehicle stopped in the middle of the road and someone exited the vehicle and quickly returned. Units made contact with the car after it passed over into Georgia. Three juveniles jumped out and ran into the neighborhood near Biscayne Avenue. Catoosa SO responded and believe the juveniles are part of a group that have been stealing cars in that area. 22-000717

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle during church services. (22-000729)
3400 block Shadowlawn Drive (theft)
A man who resides at an alcohol recovery home called police after his rent money disappeared following the group home leader checking himself into treatment for relapsing. (22-000725)

January 16– Night Shift
5319 Ringgold Road (DUI Arrest 22-000739)
Police were dispatched to the parking lot of the Family Dollar regarding an unconscious party. Upon arrival, Police made contact with the driver, Robert Shelby. Subsequently Shelby was taken into custody for DUI and Open Container. He was also charged with refusing implied consent.
Moore Road @ Ringgold Road (Vehicle Pursuit 22-000756)
THP was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle that was being driven the wrong way on Interstate 75 and Highway 153. Dispatch informed ERPD the pursuit was coming onto South Moore from South Terrace heading toward Ringgold Road. Due to the THP officer being by himself, ERPD traffic unit joined in the pursuit to back up THP. The vehicle fled into Georgia and returned to Tennessee. ERPD remained in the pursuit assisting THP until multiple units from other agency’s joined the pursuit. The pursuit ended with a foot pursuit and taser being deployed. ERPD was not involved at this time. The driver, Jayson Collar, was taken into custody by THP. ERPD will be seeking warrants for felony evading, reckless driving, driving on revoked for DUI.
1417 St Thomas St (Welfare Check 22-000751)
Parkridge East staff called to request a welfare check on a female subject who left the emergency room without being discharged. Hospital staff believed her to be in a room at the Motel 6 and informed police she had injuries consistent with domestic violence. Police made contact with her and a male at their room at the motel. Both were uncooperative with police, but the female subject did state the male subject did not assault her and that her injuries were from a prior relationship. The male subject was intoxicated and was told to stay in his room to avoid being charged with public intoxication. He later called police and stated he felt he was being hunted and harassed by police, and he was advised on how to file a complaint.
1100 South Seminole Drive (Warrant Arrest 22-000752)
Ronald Saxton was arrested for a warrant out of sessions following a traffic stop at this location.
3657 Ringgold Road (Field Interview 22-000754)
A field interview was completed after officers made contact with a woman who was walking room to room at the Cascade motel looking for her husband.
3712 Ringgold Rd (Fraudulent Use of Debit Card/Arrest 22-000742)
The complainant located the homeless party identified as Bradley Scott Gribble who stole her wallet the previous night at Spare Time in East Ridge. Gribble subsequently used her debit card at Save A Lot and Dollar General. He was taken into custody for two counts of Fraudulent Use of Debit Card and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

January 17 – Day Shift
22-000761- 6514 Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check/Arrest
The caller advised of a male in a gold Lexus nodding off in the parking lot of the Mapco. The caller also advised there were children in the vehicle. On scene police encountered Anthony Rylee. He was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication, tampering with evidence, and aggravated child endangerment. He was transported to Silverdale without incident.
22-000766- 4150 Ringgold Road- Delayed Shoplifting
On arrival police spoke with loss prevention employee at Walmart. She advised on today’s date she noted the inventory for blue Similac baby formula was off by 50 cans. Upon replaying video surveillance, she observed a female on 1/14/22 removed 50 cans of blue Similac from the shelf and place them into her cart. The female was observed also placing steak, bottled water, and dish soap into her cart. The female is then seen on camera leaving the store without paying for the items. The loss prevention employee had a profile on the suspect pulled up prior to police arrival from a shoplifting incident that occurred on 11/24/21 and was able to identify the suspect as Sherica Whitener. On 11/24/21 police made a traffic stop on Whitener’s vehicle and issued her a criminal trespass warning on behalf of Walmart Management. Warrants for shoplifting and criminal trespass will be sought.
22-000770- 5308 Ringgold Road- Auto Theft
The caller advised a customer’s vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. On scene police spoke with the victim. He advised he came to eat lunch at Fernando’s and when he tried to leave his vehicle was missing. The vehicle is described as a 1993 black Nissan Pickup with a cracked windshield and a Tennessee registration plate that does not match the vehicle. The victim could not advise any additional information about the vehicle such as a vehicle identification number or a correct registration number. The vehicle is not currently registered to the victim due to him recently purchasing it. Once the victim is in possession of the vehicle’s title and bill of sale he is going to call back but advised it would be the following day. The vehicle description was BOLO’d county wide.
22-000773- 3308 Ringgold Road- Suspicious People/AOA Warrant Service/Arrest
Kenneth Hill Megan Scott were arrested following an interaction with police at Linda’s Produce. Scott was charged with evading and several warrants through Hamilton County and Hill was charged with evading, possession of burglary tools, and attempted theft.
22-000774- 1149 Chippewah Drive- Disorder
The caller advised he caught two males attempting to enter his fence. He advised once confronted the males left the scene in a white Nissan pickup (XIF938 GA) but not before threatening to shoot him. The two males were gone on police arrival. The caller requested an extra watch for his property.

January 17 – Night Shift
22-000778 – 700 block Frawley Road / Aggravated Domestic Assault
Police were dispatched to this location in regards to an assault. Police met with the victim who advised that her son got angry over grocery money and assaulted her. The assault resulted in a bloody nose, a knot on her head, and loss of consciousness. The suspect, her son, left on foot immediately. Warrants are being sought for Aggravated Domestic Assault and Interference with Emergency Calls.
100 I-75 NB/Warrant Service(22-000794)
During a traffic stop at this location Kayla Massey and Larry Morton were both arrested on felony Catoosa County warrants. Both parties were transported to Silverdale.
7609 Standifer Gap Road / Arrest-Warrant
