December 02 – Day Shift
21-017415- 5301 Ringgold Road- Unconscious People/Drug arrest-
Jessica Goldsmith and Rhianna McGill were arrested on drug charges after being found passed out in the Walgreens parking lot. They were transported to Silverdale.
1459 Mack Smith Road (Holy Smoke Cigars)-
Sometime during the night an unknown subject attempted to pry open the rear door to the business. They also attempted to pry the rear door to the vacant unit next door (1461 Mack Smith Road).
21-017420- 1410 Mack Smith Road #3125- Citizen Assist-
A woman was transported to the Community Kitchen at her request. She was having to leave the motel due to running out of money.
21-017422- 3416 Land Street- AOA-
City Code Enforcement Officers requested police respond with them to this address for an inspection. On scene no one would answer the door. They decided to contact the homeowner later.
21-017432- 5707 Ringgold Road- Panhandler-
The caller advised of a homeless male begging money from customers in the lot. He was asked to leave but refused. On scene police spoke to him. He was issued a criminal trespass warning and sent on his way.

December 02 – Night Shift
21-017452 5300 Ringgold Road / Evading Arrest:
A white Chevrolet or GMC pickup was seen speeding in the 5300 block of Ringgold Road. After turning around and trying to catch up the vehicle, it was lost in the area of Connell Street and McBrien Road.
21-017454 6642 Ringgold Road (Arrest) –
Police observed a white CR-V behind the Econo Lodge with female hiding from Police. Police made contact with the female passenger. Marissa Martinez was arrested for Possession of Schedule I, Possession of Schedule IV, Possession of Meth, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at this location.
4150 Monroe St / Arrest: (21-017442)
Caroline Hedgecoth was arrested after stealing $885.49 worth of merchandise from Walmart. Hedgecoth was also charged with possession of heroin and resisting arrest.

December 03 – Day Shift
4320 Bennett Road (threats):
An anonymous juvenile called 911 and stated that yesterday a 12-year-old male student allegedly made threats regarding the school. The caller also stated school officials were made aware of the situation. Police do not have a home address for the student and were unable to make contact with anyone in the school system. 929 Spring Creek Road (warrant service):
Stacey McCombs was arrested at this address on active Hamilton County warrants and taken to jail. (21-017492)
1517 Tombras Avenue (warrant service):
Tyler Patton was arrested at the courthouse on active East Ridge warrants and was taken to jail. (21-017471)
5311 Weaver Street (theft):
The resident had six personal checks stolen from her mailbox. A suspect named Jerome Jones Jr. attempted to cash one of the stolen checks in Chattanooga. Two other checks were successfully cashed at other Chattanooga businesses. (21-017473)
1523 Keeble Street (burglary):
The complainant reported the burglary of his storage unit from 11/26/2021. After reviewing CCTV surveillance, a female with brown hair on one side of her head and bleach blond on the other, waited at the gate until another vehicle exited. The suspect then drove an early ‘90s model, primer gray or white, regular cab Chevy Silverado onto the property. The truck has a raised hood and chrome aftermarket wheels and a black roof. The suspect used bolt cutters to access the units and stole two sets of wheels that came from a 2003 Honda S2000 and a black, plastic toolbox that belonged to the victim. 21-017475)
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Zachary Watkins was arrested on four East Ridge forfeitures capiases while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. (21-017489)
5408 Ringgold Road (theft):
The complainant stated that an individual loaned him an electric bike which was subsequently stolen by an unknown male. The bike is a black and blue Ancheer AM004143 electric bike valued at $2500. It has been entered into NCIC (21-017478)

December 03 – Night Shift
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Suspicious Vehicle 21-017512):
Budgetel Security staff advised police there was a vehicle with an AK style rifle in their parking lot in front of building 2. Police observed the vehicle to be a 2019 Grey Kia Optima. The vehicle appeared to be unoccupied while police were out with it. In the back seat, in plain-view, police observed an AK style rifle with two extended magazines, a 1911 coated steel handgun, and another black handgun. Police attempted to make contact with the registered party but were unsuccessful. A report is on file for the incident.
6600 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-017510):
Eric Holland III was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop.
800 bock Donaldson (Arrests 21-017514):
Police were dispatched to 893 Donaldson Road in regards to a well-being check on a child. Police were met outside by four individuals, all of whom were disorderly. All parties were detained. Angel Sherrard and her son, Devin Sherrard, were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
1400 block Saint Thomas St. (Arrest 21-017521)
Andre Collier was taken into custody for possession of cocaine for resale, possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Collier also had two active felony warrants out of Hamilton County for statutory rape and aggravated assault with a firearm.
Ringgold Rd & St. Thomas (Suspicious Person 21-017511):
Police responded to this location regarding a suspicious person pulling on random hotel doors. Police made contact with a man who appeared to match the description given to police. He was checked for warrants and released on his way.
5401 Ringgold Rd ( Fraudulent Checks 21-017497:
Following a suspicious activity call at the First Horizon bank, police discovered George Adams attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Adams was charged with forgery, identify theft, criminal simulation, drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
5301 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-017520):
Police arrested Thomas Tripp for DUI following a traffic stop at this location.
939 Geswein Court (Auto Burglary 21-017523):
The complainant reported his truck was broken into around 03:56 hours. Per security footage, three possible juvenile males entered all three vehicles in the driveway and fled north to Reneau Way. A backpack with work implements was taken.
