The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
Nov. 22 Day Shift
21-016884- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- Suspicious Package-
The caller advised of a suspicious suitcase located at the side of the business. While en route the caller advised dispatch, the suitcase was picked up by a homeless person and removed from the property. The homeless person was not located.
21-016885- 1410 Mack Smith Road- Assault-
Police were dispatched on a domestic assault in room 4302. On scene police spoke with the victim. She advised Jamel Mathis assaulted her during an argument. Later, police received information that Mathis was in room 2123. On scene police found Mathis hiding under a bed in room 2123. He was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. He also had several East Ridge warrants.
21-016890- 100 I-75 South- Disorder-
The caller advised of a male and female arguing on the side of the interstate. On scene officers checked north and south bound but did not locate anyone arguing on the roadside.
21-016895- 800 block South Seminole Drive- Unknown Trouble-
Dispatch advised the caller said send the police and hung up. On scene police spoke with the caller. She advised she did not mean to contact police but rather an ambulance. She stated she thought her daughter was possibly overdosing on drugs before running into the wood line behind their home. Police contacted the daughter who was arrested the previous night for public intoxication. She advised she was not overdosing and that her odd behavior was normal for her. She stated that she is a regular user but was not experiencing an overdose and did not request any assistance. Police offered to take her to the hospital to seek help, but she refused. She was advised to stay indoors.
21-016897- 3715 Ringgold Road- Suspicious People-
The caller advised of several homeless people hanging out behind the Food City store refusing to leave. On scene they were advised to leave the property.
21-016900- 5391 Reneau Way- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised a homeless camp has sprung up just outside his property line. On scene the camp was checked but no one was there.

Night Shift
21-016925 Brookhaven and S Seminole Drive / Traffic Stop / Arrest:
Collen Mcglaremy was arrested at this location for extraditable warrants from Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia following a traffic stop at this location.
21-016913 – 3715 Ringgold Rd / Arrest:
Danielle Wood was arrested for Criminal Impersonation and Theft following a shoplifting call at the Food City. Once Wood was successfully identified, it was determined that she also had active warrants through East Ridge and Georgia. Wood was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
21-016924 – 1000 S. Seminole Felony Evading:
Police attempted to stop a white Crown Victoria headed south on South Seminole at a high rate of speed. The vehicle continued to flee south on South Seminole, and Police were unable to observe a tag on the vehicle.
21-016922- 3657 Ringgold (Cascades)/Arrest:
Short-term traffic was seen coming from room 37. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle whose occupant left that room, and the driver was identified as Michael Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence was found to be in possession of crack cocaine.
