The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
Oct. 13 Day Shift
Germantown Road at Ringgold Road (pursuit and arrest):
Police intercepted a rolling disorder on South Germantown Road which began in Chattanooga. The victim told dispatch he was attacked with a hammer by his ex-girlfriend, who was chasing him in a gold Mitsubishi. She fled when police attempted to stop her, and she was pursued back into Chattanooga where she was captured on Brainerd Road. She was arrested on five charges from East Ridge, and she was charged with aggravated assault, domestic aggravated assault and vandalism after attacking her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend with a hammer. She also had ten outstanding warrants including multiple felony warrants. (21-014916)
4214 Ringgold Road (delayed domestic assault):
A female subject contacted police about a delayed assault committed against her by her boyfriend. She stated he grabbed her by the arms and wouldn’t allow her to leave their residence. (21-014894)
4214 Ringgold Road (harassment):
A female subject stated a male subject has been posting negative comments about her and her son online including her address which is listed on an affidavit of complaint involving him. She says he is a gang member. (21-014708)
5707 Ringgold Road (theft):
A male entered the Dollar General and filled up a buggy full with various items prior to leaving in a white Ford F150 with a white camper. (21-014897)
1111 Altamaha Street (theft):
The complainant called in to report that her vehicle was entered sometime from Sunday 10/10/21 to this morning. A SCCY 9mm was taken from the vehicle. The firearm was entered into NCIC. (21-014912)
1104 Altamaha Street (vehicle burglary):
The complainant reported an unknown party entered her unsecured vehicle while it was parked in the driveway sometime between 0200 and 0700 on 10/13/2021. The complainant advised the suspect took a prescription bottle of Vyvanse. No suspect information is available. (21-014915)
921 Sunny Dell Ln (theft):
The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a personal check she was attempting to mail from her mailbox sometime between 1700 on 10/06/2021 and 0900 on 10/07/2021. The suspect then altered the check and attempted to cash it at the bank’s downtown branch. The suspect was described as an older male missing a finger. (21-014918)

Night Shift
I75S (21-014936) – Pursuit Assist
ERPD assisted a sole HCSO unit who had pursued a vehicle and stopped just inside Ga. No ERPD units were involved in the actual pursuit.
1503 McDonald Road (21-014941) –
Fugitive Warrant/ Officers attempted to serve a full extradition, felony warrant from Georgia on Robert Samuel. According to the complainant, Samuel was seen in room #108 moments before. ERPD entered the room, with a master keycard, after a knock and announce was unsuccessful. Samuel was not in the room. After a brief surveillance, Samuel returned and was taken into custody without incident.
300 Camp Jordan Parkway (21-014944) –
Traffic Stop Arrest/ subsequent to a traffic stop, Michael Hill was arrested for DUI, Driving on Revoked for DUI and paraphernalia
4222 US41 (21-014946) Pursuit/ –
A vehicle, driven by Meckeal Gates, was pursued into Georgia after it was initially reported as a false imprisonment/kidnapping, but turned out to be a drunken disorder among acquaintances. Warrants were sought for Gates charging with felony evading and resisting arrest.
