The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” furnished by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
Sept. 14 Day Shift
21-013328- 1600 blk of Wake Robin Drive- Shots Heard-
The caller advised they heard what sounded like two parties exchanging gunfire in the area. They also advised a suspicious white car left the area just after the shots were heard. On scene police spoke to a witness. He advised two unknown males pulled up in front of his neighbor’s house, exited a white vehicle, and started firing toward Frawley Road. Once they were finished, they left the area. Police located nine shell casings in the roadway and roadside. This incident is still under investigation.
21-013306- Ringgold Road @ John Ross Road- Suspicious Person/Intoxicated Person-
The caller advised of a male in the roadway causing a hazard. On scene police located Bryan Ellis. He was visibly intoxicated. While speaking with police Ellis spontaneously uttered “I’m drunk” and stated he had been drinking “a lot of Evan Williams.” Due to Ellis’ behavior and his level of intoxication, he was deemed to be a danger to himself and the general public. He was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale for public intoxication.
21-013307- 1502 McDonald Road (Lifecare)- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller advised of a suspicious vehicle parked in the grass in front of the business. Once on scene police spoke with the occupant. He was found to be a construction worker working in the area.

Night Shift
21-013333- Franklin Place- Arrest:
Police were dispatched to this location over a disorder regarding an alleged stolen lawnmower.. Police met with Tyler McLaughlin, who advised he moved out in June and had an agreement with the landlord that he could leave some belongings in a shed locked up for an indefinite amount of time. McLaughlin advised the downstairs tenant broke the lock open and stole the lawnmower. The downstairs tenant is identified as Georgia Lapkovitch. Lapkovitch admitted to taking the lawnmower. Lapkovitch advised that McLaughlin threw a piece of wood and it struck her in the face. Lapkovitch did have injuries consistent with the alleged assault. McLaughlin was arrested for assault, and Lapkovitch was issued a misdemeanor citation for Theft of Property regarding the lawnmower.
21-013347- 3715 Ringgold Road- Arrest:
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a possible intoxicated party that was charging a customer’s truck, yelling and threatening him. Upon arrival, police met with Travis Dial, who was determined to be under the influence. Police spoke to the victim, who advised Dial threatened him, and threw a lit cigarette at his truck as well as tried to pry off the RAM letters off the front of the vehicle. Police took Dial into custody for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
21-013365 1441 N Smith Street (Holiday Inn) / Disorder:
Ronnie Bedford was issued a criminal trespass warning following sleeping in the lobby of the hotel and refusing to leave when asked by staff. Report on file.
21-013366/ 4214 Ringgold Road/ Warrant Service:
Police served a Forfeiture Capias Warrant for Criminal Simulation (#139483) on Laquanda Cross. Ms. Cross is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Jail at Silverdale.
21-013352- Springvale/Key West- Traffic stop- Arrest:
A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for erratic driving behavior. Subsequently, Mr. Joshua Dale and Ms. Noelle Gonzales were found to be in possession of two ounces of marijuana.
