Aug. 10 Day Shift
1321 Blocker Lane/Auto Burglary(21-011424)
The complainant reported that someone entered her vehicle at some point during the hours of 10 pm last night and 10 am today. She observed that three of her doors were open and the center console and glove box were open. No items were missing.
3936 Ringgold Road/Driving on revoked/Stolen license plate recovery(21-011441)
During a traffic stop at this location, Ricardo Martinez was issued misdemeanor citations in lieu of arrest for driving on revoked and theft of property. A stolen license plate was recovered and placed into property ad evidence.
4320 Bennett/ Assist Fire:
ERFD/EMS/ERPD responded to the high school for an electrical fire in the gymnasium. Fire was extinguished and one person was transported by HCEMS. 21-011413
4222 RGR/Suspicious Person:
Jesse Cranmore was asked to leave by the management of Speedway. Mr Cranmore refused to leave and instead, used a series of profanities toward the manager. Police arrived and expressed to the subject his behavior was not welcome at the convenience store and he was advised to leave. He was subsequently “trespassed” from the Speedway. 21-011433
4400 Louise Ave/Suspicious Person:
Neighbor reported a car sitting at this address with the back open and one occupant. Police arrived and spoke with the HVAC repairman and the homeowner. 21-011432
1303 Pleasant/ Suspicious Activity:
Neighbor called in thinking someone had gotten inside the condemned house. She also thought she heard someone break a back door and enter 1306. Police cleared both structures and found no evidence of anyone recently gaining unlawful entry. 21-11439
Blanton Dr/ Suspicious activity:
Caller reported a large mass of roadkill in the middle of Blanton Dr. Police responded to the area and found a large chunk of watermelon smashed in the street. No number
3607 Weldon Dr/Auto Burglary(21-011420):
The complainant reported that overnight an unknown party entered her 2015 VW Jetta. Nothing was reported stolen.
5600 block Clemons Rd (Check the Well-being):
Police responded to check the well-being of a man after a neighbor called to report their concern for him due to his health and living conditions. Police located an unsecured front door and later located the man lying on a bed in the front bedroom. He appeared to be affected by some kind of medical condition and the residence had a strong odor about it. While speaking with him, he expressed his displeasure with his neighbors calling police to check on him and he refused any medical assistance. A report was filed with Adult Protective Services. 1517 Tombras Ave (Arrest 21-004315):
Zechariah Clark was taken into custody in East Ridge City Court after not appearing for booking on a misdemeanor citation.
3208 Ringgold Rd (Child Locked in Vehicle 21-011460):
Police responded with fire personnel on a child locked in a vehicle. Officers and fire personnel worked together to gain entry to the vehicle.
5080 S Terrace (Arrest 21-011462):
Charles Leidner was stopped for a traffic violation on his bicycle and then taken into custody for public intoxication.
6642 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity/Arrest 21-011465):
Police responded to a report of several parties possibly involved in a narcotics transaction at the Econo Lodge. Officers made contact with Lee Clements. Clements was found to be in possession of a stolen motorcycle. He was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale.
5301 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-011473):
Staff at Walgreen’s requested police check on a female with a large bag loitering in the store. Emily Spain was located in the store and was concealing items in her purse. Walgreen’s declined to prosecute but Spain was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl. She was arrested and transported to Silverdale on the narcotics charges.
1500 McDonald Rd (Arrest 21-011474):
Sylvester Williams was taken into custody for driving while revoked and criminal impersonation. During a post arrest check of the vehicle police located a bag of marijuana. Warrants were secured and served for possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence.
5394 Reneau Way (Suspicious Activity 21-011475):
Officers were pulling onto Reneau Way to conduct a neighborhood check when they received dispatch of a suspicious male in the area. Police patrolled the area on foot for several minutes in an attempt to locate any suspicious persons. No one was located.
