The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
July 31 – Day Shift
4150 Monroe St/Theft(21-010867)
Walmart reported that on 07/30/21 at approximately 1945 hours, a male and female exited the store with $342 worth of merchandise without paying.
I 75 Welcome Center/DOA 21-010862:
Staff at the Welcome Center noticed an RV with FL tags that had been sitting in the same spot, engine running, since Thursday evening. The staff knocked on the vehicle several times, but no answer. Police arrived, observed a subject in the floor and made emergency entry. The subject, an elderly male, was deceased. Police notified CID, the medical examiner, and family members. Officers located a cat in the RV and it was turned over to ERAS.

July 31 – Night Shift
1417 St Thomas St (Disorder 21-010903):
Motel staff called police about an upset customer who was yelling in the lobby. The customer was angry about a refund he had been promised but had not received. He agreed to leave and contact management at a later date.
5600 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010906):
Danya Melton was taken into custody for simple possession during a traffic stop.
1519 Springvale Rd (Suspicious Person 21-010907):
Police responded to a report of a blonde male party who appeared intoxicated. The caller stated the male wasn’t wearing a shirt and had crawled into a ditch. Officers checked the wellbeing of the man who said he was ok and didn’t want any assistance.
1518 Prigmore Rd (Arrest 21-010917):
Police responded to a domestic assault between Hector Martinez and other family members. Martinez had outstanding warrants for a number of charges including aggravated assault. Martinez fled at the sight of police. A Chattanooga Police K9 assisted East Ridge Police officers track and capture Martinez. Martinez was charged with evading arrest for tonight’s incident. Martinez was treated at Parkridge East Hospital for injuries he sustained fleeing officers and was then transported to Silverdale.
3604 Ringgold Rd (Assist Fire 21-010918):
Police responded with the Fire Department to Edgewood Baptist Church. An inflatable “bounce house” was on fire. The Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze.
4139 East Ridge Ave (Arrest 21-010919):
Henrietta Barnes was taken into custody for aggravated misuse of 911. Barnes called police in excess of five times on this date in an apparent effort to harass her neighbor. She was warned multiple times before being taken into custody.
6513 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-010920):
Police responded to the Waffle House on a report of a party being disorderly and harassing customers. The female party moved along and was later encountered at McDonald’s harassing customers. She was provided transport to an address in Chattanooga at her request.
6401 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-010923):
Jake Holcombe was taken into custody for DUI after he was located asleep in the McDonald’s drive-thru.
4300 Ringgold Rd (DUI Arrest 21-010926):
Kari Crutcher was taken into custody for speeding, driving while revoked, DUI and open container violation.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Arrest 21-010927):
David Brown was arrest on East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.
500 S Moore Rd (DUI Arrest 21-010925):
John Doe (AKA Simon Ramirez) was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.

August 01 – Day Shift
3657 Ringgold Road/Found property(21-010948)
The Manager of the Cascades turned in a firearm that was found in room 64 while housekeeping was cleaning. The firearm was not stolen and placed into property and evidence.
6401 Ringgold Road (McDonald’s) (INDECENT EXPOSURE) 21-010932:
Police came into contact with Joan Ross, the alleged naked woman. Police spoke with the reporting party who advised police that a customer had advised that her small children had gone into the restroom and came back telling her there was a naked woman inside. The reporting party stated the customer was extremely mad that a woman was naked in the restroom and children had been subjected to it. Ross was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
941 Spring Creek / Disorder 21-010932:
Police encountered a man outside of the ER at Parkridge East. HCEMS had brought the subject there for his meth issues. Once cleared, he didn’t want to leave the hospital; instead wanting to sleep in the lobby. Police discovered he was homeless and transported him to the area of the Community Kitchen.
1403 Adonna Lane/ Animal Call 21-010940:
Police received a call about two loose dogs at this address. The gate of the residence had fallen off its hinges and allowed the dogs to escape. Officers coaxed the dogs back into their yard and secured the gate. Owner was notified of the escape.

August 01 – Night Shift
1500 Mack Smith (Arrest 21-010957):
Ronald Wilkey Jr. was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop. He was also issued several traffic citations. Lucas Dodson, front seat passenger, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
941 Spring Creek Rd (Unknown 911 21-010961):
Officers responded to an unknown 911 call at Parkridge East. The call was from a female party screaming for hospital staff to discharge her. Hospital staff assured police the party was a psychiatric patient and they had the situation under control. Moments later hospital security requested police assist them in removing her from the hospital campus.
3800 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010966):
Eric Standifer was taken into custody after he refused to sign traffic citations. Standifer was also charged retaliation for past acts after he threatened the arresting officer.
1619 Truman Ave (Arrest 21-010964):
Anthony Painter was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3319 Gleason Dr (Arrest 21-010969):
Bricara King was taken into custody after police received complaints of her knocking on citizen’s doors in the early morning hours of Monday.
3300 Old Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-010968):
Lavonte Allen was taken into custody for possession of marijuana for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony and being a felon in possession of firearms. Police located two loaded semi-automatic handguns in the vehicle.
