The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
June 21 Day Shift
21-008777- 4338 Ringgold Road (Food Lion)- Suspicious Activity-
The caller advised of a white male and female hanging out around the business. On arrival police encountered Cory Mansel and a woman. They were checked for warrants. Mansel was found to have a warrant through Hamilton County. He was detained and transported to new 601. The woman was sent on her way.
No number assigned- 323 Camp Jordan Parkway- AOA-
Police stood by with animal control while they removed dogs.
21-008789- 6105 Ringgold Road (Popeye’s)- Disorder-
The caller advised a white male in a white vehicle was blocking the drive through. She advised the male was angry due to them being out of chicken sandwiches. On arrival police spoke to the male. He was advised to move along.
8791- 538 Wando Drive- Assault-
The caller advised an unknown white male shot at her grandchildren with a bb gun. On arrival police spoke with the complainant. She advised her grandson and a friend from across the street were outside playing in a small pool when they were shot with BB’s. Police spoke with both Juveniles and they described the suspect as a white male wearing a red shirt with a face on the front with black jeans, white Adidas shoes and brown hair. They stated the suspect was last seen walking north on Wando Drive towards South Terrace. The juveniles did not appear injured. Police checked the area for the suspect, however, were unable to locate him.
21-008792- 6708 Ringgold Road (Circle K)- Unconscious Person-
The caller advised an unknown male in a red dodge truck was unconscious at pump #7. On arrival police spoke with the man. He advised he had fallen asleep.

Night Shift
4214 Ringgold Road / Arrest-Warrant:
Bryan Yates was arrested for a Petition to Revoke Warrant – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 21-008796
1000 S. Seminole / Pursuit of Vehicle:
Chattanooga Police were in pursuit of a shooting suspect in East Ridge. The vehicle was occupied by four parties. East Ridge Police assisted in the pursuit until Chattanooga had other units in the pursuit to back the pursuing officers. The suspect went off road and East Ridge officers terminated. The vehicle is a newer black Jeep Grand Cherokee with temporary registration and damage to the front from going off road. The vehicle was seen in an area near East Ridge on South Crest prior to the pursuit and was last seen traveling through yards and ditches in the 3200 block of Hoyt Street. 21-008802
3635 Ringgold Rd / Theft / Evading:
Family Dollar reported a male and two females entered the store and stole approximately $350 worth of merchandise. The parties fled the scene in a white Chevy sedan with a cover over their registration plate. Police located the vehicle at the intersection of Gleason and South Seminole as the female was removing the cover from the tag. Police attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and it fled from police north on South Seminole. Police did not pursue the vehicle and allowed it to safely flee the area. Police contacted the Manager of Family Dollar who advised since police can not catch them there is no need to report it and declined a report.
400 S. Seminole / Evading:
Police attempted to stop an older Ford Focus which was spray painted black and had no registration plate displayed. The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed headed north. Police did not pursue the vehicle and allowed it to safely flee the area.
4 Franklin Pl. / Prowler:
The resident at this location reported hearing people outside making loud noises. Police arrived within moments and did not locate anyone but did discover the fishing poles leaning on the house had fallen. No further police action was taken.
6708 Ringgold Road / Psychiatric Emergency:
A male subject of East Ridge suffered from a psychiatric episode causing citizen to call police. He was transported to Parkridge East by Lifeguard EMS. 21-008818
