May 27– Day Shift
3587 Bennett Road (residential fire):
Police were dispatched to this location regarding a residential fire with entrapment. Ofc. Dyer and Cpl. Daverson entered the extremely smoke filled residence and assisted with rescuing the adult male victim. Once outside the two officers immediately began CPR which they performed for an extended period of time. The victim was transported to Parkridge East where he was pronounced deceased. (21-007428)
5314 Dupont Avenue (disorder):
Police responded to this address so one of the individuals from the fight last night could collect personal belongings. Another disorder began prior to the male leaving with his belongings. (21-007398)
4214 Ringgold Road (fraud):
Complainant reported the theft of her wallet three days ago. She has now discovered an unauthorized charge on a credit card in the amount of $700. (21-007219)
6727 Ringgold Road (homelessness):
Police were called about a suspected unconscious woman lying on the sidewalk. Police made contact with Christine P. who was simply sleeping on the sidewalk in front of Wendy’s restaurant. She was instructed to stop and move along. (21-007422)

May 27 –Night Shift
5373 Reneau Way (Suspicious Vehicle 21-007444):
Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. Residents believed he was recording homes in the area. The driver was issued a traffic citation for using a phone while driving.
3322 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-007448):
The reporting party stated there was a white male on scene at the car wash propositioning females. The reporting party was no longer on scene when police arrived, but officers did locate the party and identified him. The subject was encouraged to relocate.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-007450):
Charles Suggs was arrested on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
3306 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-007451):
The caller stated there were several people behind Linda’s Produce standing around a pick-up truck. The parties were gone when police arrived.
3100 Ringgold Rd (Truck in Tunnel 21-007459):
Officers assisted a truck driver in backing his semi-truck out of the tunnel after he ignored multiple warning signs and entered. Citations were issued to the driver.
6600 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant 21-007465):
Malcolm Twilley was taken into custody on Hamilton County warrants during a traffic stop and transported to the jail.
802 McHann Dr (Suspicious Activity 21-007466):
The reporting party stated he observed two males exit a bright red sedan, possibly a Volvo or Volkswagen, and enter his yard. He stated they walked between his and a neighbor’s house then left the area. Police did not locate the vehicle or the subjects.

21-007487- 941 Spring Creek Road (Parkridge East)- Found Narcotics-
The caller advised the cleaning staff found a baggie of meth in one of the rooms. Police responded and took possession of the narcotics. It was put in property.
21-007488- Warrant Service-
Tyshaila Chain was served a probation violation warrant at 601.
21-007489- 639 Camp Jordan Parkway (Chick Fil A)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a white male in the lot playing an accordion and panhandling. On arrival the male had already left the area.

May 28 – Night Shift
5319 Ringgold Road 21-007527 (arrest):
Christian Ronaldo Garcia was taken into custody for underage DUI 2nd, following a traffic stop at this location.
21-007535 3200 Ringgold Road / Pursuit / Felony Evading:
Police observed a grey pickup truck traveling west on Ringgold Road with no taillights displayed and failing to maintain the lane. The vehicle also matched the description of a shooting suspect in Chattanooga. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled from police at a high-speed west on Ringgold Road onto Westside Drive. During the pursuit, police determined that the registration displayed on the vehicle was from the state of Georgia and would not match the shooting suspect. At this time, police terminated the pursuit at 15th Ave and E 41st Street and allowed the vehicle to flee from police safely. The vehicle to BOLO for is a 2017 Dodge Ram, grey in color, 4 doors, displaying TN tag 9T3-4A2
21-007502 – 1000 McBrien Road / Crash-Serious Injuries:
A white Nissan Titan traveling southbound ran off the roadway, hitting a utility pole. One of the occupants was ejected, causing serious injuries.
5080 S Terrace/Drugs (21-007520):
Jayme Taylor was arrested at this location during a traffic stop for possession of MDMA for resale and simple possession of marijuana.
