The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
May 5 Day Shift
21-006173- 5300 block Haisten Court- Disorder-
The caller advised she was having trouble getting her 16-year-old son up for school. Police responded and spoke with the juvenile and his mother. The child decided to go to school.
21-006175- 4851 Madonna Avenue (Performance Chiropractor)- Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. On arrival police spoke to a cleaning crew. The alarm was accidental.
21-006180- 5611 Ringgold Road (Advanced Rent to Own)- Illegal Dumping-
The caller advised during the night a U-Haul truck pulled into the lot and dumped trash at their dumpster. On arrival police contacted the complainant and store manager. He advised shortly after 2100 hours a large U-Haul truck pulled behind the business and an unknown white male and female began offloading items next to the store’s dumpster. Police observed two refrigerators along with multiple mattresses dumped in the rear parking lot next to the dumpster. Police also observed video footage of the incident; however, it was difficult to make out the suspects. One suspect appeared to be a white male wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and the second suspect appeared to be a heavyset white female wearing pants. The complainant stated he believes he has seen the U-Haul truck visit Homeplate bar in the past.
21-006181- 5700 Roper Street (New Castle)- Unknown Trouble-
The caller advised she heard someone screaming for help in the apartment above hers. On arrival police contacted apartment E6. The screaming was found to be coming from children. Everyone was ok.
21-006182- 1215 Laredo Court- Disorder Prevention-
A worker with TAW requested police stand by while he disconnected the water from this residence. On arrival police stood by while the worker shut the water off. Police also requested the assistance of Animal Control due to multiple dogs inside of the gate. Animal Control officers became concerned with the number of animals on the property and requested Codes Enforcement response as well. Animal Control officers along with Codes Enforcement officers conducted an inspection of the home and decided that the home will be condemned. Animal Control will be picking up surrendered animals later. Later in the shift police responded back to this address with Codes and Animal Control. Officers stood by while they collected approximately 25 dogs and cats and condemned the residence.
21-006185- 1400 blk of Mack Smith Road- Wellbeing Check-
The caller advised of a white female walking in the roadway and appeared distressed. On arrival the female said she was ok.
21-006193- 3330 Ringgold Road (King Audio)- Noise Complaint-
The caller advised the business was causing unnecessary noise. On arrival they were advised to quiet down.
21-006195- 6642 Ringgold Road (Econo Lodge)- AOA-
Floyd County called and requested officers check the motel for a missing juvenile. On arrival the juvenile was located. Floyd County was advised and the juvenile was removed from NCIC.
21-006196- 4348 Ringgold Road (Sonic)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a white male in the area acting strange and looking into vehicles. On arrival police checked the area but the male was not located.
21-006194 – 6224 Perimeter Dr (CPD) –
Matthew P. Watson was arrested on four Forfeiture Capias arrest warrants through the City of East Ridge, reference 142884, 142885, 142886, 142887. Watson was transported to the Hamilton County Jail at 601 Walnut St.

Night Shift
6514 Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – 21-006221 –
Police were called about a vehicle occupied by two males possibly selling narcotics. Police contacted the males. Police discovered that one of the subjects is a registered sex offender but did not have the required identification. Police will be following up to determine whether the man was made aware of the requirement as he is a new resident of Tennessee. The other male subject returned with a possible warrant out of Georgia. An NCIC inquiry was sent on him and no response was received after over 30 minutes, so he was released on scene.
21-006220 800 S Germantown Road / Traffic Stop / AOA:
Desquan Woods was taken into custody for a valid Hamilton County Warrant following a traffic stop at this location.
5830 Ringgold Road / Rolling Disorder (21-006202):
Police were advised to look out for a green Kia Rio in the area due to a male driver assaulting a female passenger. Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Gabriel Lefever-Leigh was arrested for domestic assault, DUI 4th, Reckless Driving, and driving on suspended. Conditions were served.
100 I-75 S / Traffic Stop (21-006218):
Deosha King was arrested for public intoxication and assault on police following a traffic stop.
Exit 1 I-75 SB/ DUI/Drugs for resale (21-006218):
Ledexter Mcelvain was arrested for possession of crack cocaine for resale, possession of cocaine for resale, MDMA for resale, tampering with evidence, and DUI during a traffic stop at this location.
