The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” provided by the administration of the East Ridge Police Department.
April 29– Day Shift
6700 Ringgold Road (disorder):
A guest who had been staying for two days at the Quality Inn decided she wanted a refund while checking out. When the refund was denied she became very upset and began yelling at the desk clerk. As she left the lobby she knocked over a plastic display. She was gone prior to police arrival, and the property was not damaged. Management put her on a no service list for Quality Inn. (21-005872)
1000 block S. Seminole Drive (miscellaneous):
The property owner of this address asked police to standby while she gave eviction papers to the current occupants who were unable to fulfill the requirements of a purchase agreement. Police stood by but did advise her to seek future assistance with civil process if the parties refuse to vacate. (21-005864)

April 29 –Night Shift
323 Camp Jordan Pkwy (Improper Parking 21-005886):
Officers received numerous complaints of individuals parking in handicap spots preventing parties with placards from using the spaces. Parking citations were issued.
941 Spring Creek Rd (Disorder 21-005896):
Family members of a COVID positive patient were demanding his release from the hospital. The party was not medically safe to leave the premises. The family members were asked to leave the property for the night.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-005901):
Marcus Copenny was arrested on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
5613 Clemmons Rd (Disorder 21-005902):
The reporting party stated her boyfriend, Bradford Brown, was intoxicated and being disorderly. Brown was taken into custody for domestic assault and child abuse.
5700 Oakdale Ave (DUI 21-005904):
Malcolm Robinson was taken into custody for DUI 2nd and open container law violation during a traffic stop for speeding.
700 Summit Ave (Arrest 21-005908):
Demontay Suttles was taken into custody for possession of Percocet during a traffic stop.
5394 Reneau Way (Suspicious Vehicle – No Number):
The reporting party stated there was a suspicious white car driving slowly through the neighborhood. It was determined the suspicious vehicle was an ERPD patrol unit conducting a neighborhood check.
1417 St Thomas St (Disorder 21-005911):
Officers responded to reports of a disorder between motel staff and a guest. The guest was asked to leave the property.
950 Spring Creek Rd (Arrest 21-005914):
Ashley Neff was taken into custody for possession of cocaine and criminal impersonation. She was also found to have active warrants through Hamilton County.
700 S Germantown Rd (DUI 21-005917):
Edvin Ajtun Pelico was taken into custody for DUI during a traffic stop.
600 blcok S Sweetbriar Rd (Accidental Shooting 21-005916):
Police responded to Memorial Hospital in reference to a delayed accidental shooting which occurred in the 600 block of South Sweetbriar. The victim stated he had fallen asleep with the firearm in his lap. He awakened and accidentally discharged the firearm striking himself in the foot.
6513 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-005918):
Police responded to a verbal disorder between and male and female at the Waffle House.

April 30 – Day Shift
21-005940 – 601 Walnut St – Warrant Service –
Tracy L. Long Jr was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on a Forfeiture Capias through the City of East Ridge, reference 119798.
1417 St Thomas St (guest removal):
Management called to have the guest at room 205 to be removed due to a verbal conflict with cleaning services. The guest agreed to leave with no issues.

April 30 – Night Shift
21-005953 – 201 Eads St. Apt 216 / Criminal Trespass:
Police were dispatched to this location for suspicious activity. The caller advised that there was a person at her patio door. The suspect kicked and threw a chair at the caller’s door.
4214 Ringgold Road/ 21-002936/ Warrant Service:
Police served six warrants on Brandon Allen Smith, who was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. Charges are leaving the scene of an accident, due care, driving on suspended, drug paraphernalia, improper display, and financial responsibility.
21-005958 1107 S Seminole Drive / Traffic Stop/ Arrest:
While conducting traffic control in the 3100 block of Ringgold Road, police observed a black Honda Pilot nearly strike two East Ridge Police Officers directing traffic. Police then observed the driver cross the center line on south Seminole drive into oncoming traffic and police conducted a traffic stop at 1107 S Seminole Drive. The driver was removed from the vehicle, where he pulled away from police and was ultimately arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, and Resisting Arrest.
6300 Ringgold Road / Disorder (21-005948):
David Munroe was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after becoming irate with Krystal restaurant staff, who would not let him come inside to pick up a door dash order.
