April 28 Day Shift
3824 Ringgold Road (theft):
The office manager at East Ridge Family Dentistry, called to report the overnight theft of five large galvanized flower pots valued at $300 each. (21-005816)
3223 Ardian Trail (auto theft):
The resident received a phone call this morning from a person who found some of his personal items on an area roadway. The man stated the items had been inside his black 2016 F-150 (TN tag 2T84A1). He went outside to find his truck had been stolen overnight. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. (21-005812)
6650 Ringgold Road (narcotics):
An anonymous caller stated people in a first-floor room at the LaQuinta Inn were selling Fentanyl and stole his money. The room was not occupied. (21-005811)
1417 St. Thomas Street (suspicious person):
Motel staff called about two people observed lying on the floor in the motel hallway. Police made contact with the two who claimed they were waiting on a ride. They were instructed to wait elsewhere. (21-005818)
6721 Ringgold Road (disorder/littering):
The husband of the store manager at Family Dollar observed the white male passenger of a 2002 Ford Focus hatchback with TN tag# DBZ126 putting trash into the store’s dumpster. The caller stated upon advising the subject to stop, the subject threatened to stab him. The reporting party advised he then exited his vehicle and his sidearm was visible, and the suspect immediately left. (21-005820)

The reporting party stated sometime in the overnight hours of April 27 their vehicle was entered and cash was taken.
4078 S Terrace (DUI 21-005843):
Karla Harris was taken into custody for DUI 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia. following a crash.
6401 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-005844):
Michael Martin was taken into custody for public intoxication.
1417 St Thomas St (Arrest 21-005850):
Philip Shipley was taken into custody for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
1400 S Moore Rd (DUI 21-005849):
Jose Calpes was taken into custody for DUI and violation of the open container law during a traffic stop.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-005855):
Charles Hudson was arrested on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
6514 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-005858):
Courtney Watkins was taken into custody for possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kraig Smith was taken into custody for DUI and violation of the open container law.
