The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
April 5 Day Shift
1410 Mack Smith Road (warrant service):
Chadrick Weaver was taken into custody at the Budgetel for an active East Ridge warrant. (21-004540)
1473 Mack Smith Road (suspicious person):
Anthony Trillett was asked to move along after business owners reported observing him lying on the sidewalk. Trillett complied and left the area. (21-004556). He was later criminally trespassed after coming back to the location.
1473 Mack Smith Road (suspicious person):
Brianna D., who is homeless, had been previously asked to vacate the area in front of 1473 Mack Smith Road. A short time later she was discovered sleeping behind the same building. Police transported her to the Community Kitchen. (21-004546)

Night Shift
6200 Ringgold Rd (Auto Theft 21-004578):
The reporting party stated her white 2012 Honda Civic had been stolen from the parking lot of Taco Bell. A short time later police observed the vehicle driven by Douglas Ohara traveling north in the 700 block of Frawley Rd. The vehicle fled police turning east on Layfield Circle. Officers did not pursue the vehicle in accordance with department policy. As police came to the intersection of Layfield Cir and Moreview Rd the suspect vehicle was observed at the dead end of Layfield. Officers checked the vehicle and learned the suspect had fled. A perimeter was setup and a few moments later Ohara was captured in the woods between Layfield and Moreview. Ohara is charged with theft of a vehicle and evading.
3400 Gleason Dr (Arrest 21-004592):
David Minshew was taken into custody for possession of a stolen license plate and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop. Christina Shutt was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia. Shutt also had narcotics related warrants through Hamilton County.
100 I 75N (AOA Warrant 21-004593):
Jillian Ross was detained on Hamilton County warrants during a traffic stop. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
1417 St Thomas St (Assist EMS 21-004602):
Police responded to assist EMS with a fall victim. Officers arrived first and encountered a highly intoxicated female subject. She made suicidal comments to police and was transported to Parkridge East for evaluation.
