The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
April 2 Day Shift
182 I-24 (21-004394)
Police were dispatched to a fight on the interstate. Both parties gone on arrival.
3617 Ida Bell Ln. (21-004403)
Complainant advised that UPS delivered two packages to her neighbor by accident and that the neighbor would not give them back. Police arrived and were able to convince her to give the packages back.
3806 Wiley Ave (Backup Fire Dept.):
East Ridge Fire Dept responded to investigate a residential fire that was extinguished prior to arrival with property damage inside the living room. A juvenile male on scene experience first degree burns to his left calf.
St Thomas St (suspicious activity):
Unknown caller who did not wish to speak with police stated he wanted the area checked for a black Jamaican male party wearing cammo pants. Police checked the area and was not able to find anyone in the area matching the description.
21-004386 – 5700 Roper Street – Theft.
The complainant reported that her Tennessee registration tag was stolen from her silver 2012 Nissan Sentra. The theft occurred overnight and there was no suspect information. Tag information was placed into NCIC.
21-004398 – 1211 Harvard Street – Littering.
The reporting party stated that at approximately 12:05 he observed a black Chevrolet Equinox with a trailer drive into the area. According to the RP two white males exited the vehicle and dumped several unwanted items on the side of the road. The area the garbage was dumped was found to be a lot currently owned by the City of East Ridge. The East Ridge Sanitation Department and the East Ridge City Codes Enforcement will be notified of the situation. The suspects have not been identified.
21-004405 – 4340 Ringgold Road – Vandalism.
The complainant stated that the passenger door on her BMW sedan was keyed while she was at work in Food Lion. No witnesses observed the incident and security cameras in the local businesses did not cover the incident area.

April 2 Night Shift
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Assist Other 21-004423):
Police responded to assist codes enforcement with an attempted inspection of some of the rooms at the Budgetel. Codes enforcement were denied access to any of the rooms.
840 Belvoir Crest Dr (Assault 21-004419)
Aaron Smith was taken into custody for domestic assault, vandalism and possession of Xanax.
1164 Chippewah Dr (Assist Other 21-004425):
Animal Services requested police assistance with removing dogs from this location.
1410 Mack Smith Rd (Assist EMS 21-004430):
Police responded with Fire and EMS on a medical call at Budgetel.
1417 St Thomas St (Domestic Disorder 21-004436):
Police were dispatched to a domestic disorder at the Motel 6. Once on scene officers made contact with Amber S. Demarcus D. and Tiffany Dover. It was learned the disorder was verbal only. While investigating the disorder Dover gave police the wrong name and lied about her social security number. Once her true identity was determined she was found to have active warrants. She was charged with criminal impersonation and transported on her warrants.
601 Walnut Ave (Warrant Arrest 21-0044):
Christopher Henley was arrested on East Ridge warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
5408 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-004447):
Jessica Wentworth was taken into custody for DUI after she refused to complete field sobriety tests.
5611 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004449):
Jessica Williamson was taken into custody for public intoxication after starting a disorder at the Homeplate. She was also trespassed from the property.
3100 Old Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004440):
Robert Emerson was taken into custody for possession of schedule I and possession of schedule II during a traffic stop. Meredith Binkley was charged with possession of schedule I and possession of drug paraphernalia during the same stop.
4145 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004418):
Brandon Rodriguez was taken into custody for simple possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor during a traffic stop. Rodriquez’ passenger in the vehicle, a juvenile female, was found to have attachments through juvenile detention. She was transported to JDU.
1300 Sewanee Dr (Misdemeanor Citation 21-004439):
Jennifer Goins was issued a misdemeanor citation for vandalizing her estranged boyfriend’s vehicle.

April 3 Day Shift
No number assigned- 5080 South Terrace (AMC)- Extra watch-
Police located evidence of someone living behind the dumpster; however, the individual was not on scene. AMC theater management wants the individual trespassed if found.
21-004465- 4148 East Ridge Drive- Animal Call-
The caller requested police assistance with a large dead snake his neighbor disposed of on his property. Animal Control also responded. On arrival police assisted with the removal of the dead animal.
21-004466- 1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Unconscious Person-
Police were dispatched with Fire and EMS on an unconscious female. On arrival the female was found to have been asleep.
21-004467- South Lovell Avenue- Suspicious Vehicles-
The anonymous caller advised of a pizza delivery driver suspicious in the neighborhood. The caller advised the driver may be selling drugs. On arrival in the area police located the vehicle and spoke to the driver. He was delivering a pizza.
21-004470- 3984 Ringgold Road (Stop-n-Go Pharmacy)- Vandalism-
The caller reported a unknown suspect has repeatedly vandalized his business over the last three weeks. Report on file.
21-004475- 6408 Ringgold Road (Dunkin Donuts)- Found Property-
The caller reported seeing a handgun laying in the roadway in front of the business. Police responded and collected the gun. It was put in property.

April 3 Night Shift
5705 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-004483):
Officers responded to a possible burglary in process. A citizen had observed two male parties, Bryan Maroon and Jerry Shirley, scaling a fence to access property behind Chattanooga Pool. Both parties were issued misdemeanor citations for drug paraphernalia
3957 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004481):
Nancy Rountree was taken into custody after she left the scene of a traffic crash during the investigation. Rountree also struck a mailbox and utility pole after she left the scene.
5336 Connell St (Noise Complaint 21-004491):
Police responded to another complaint of loud music coming from this address. A citation for violation of the city noise ordinance was issued.
3715 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-004492):
Nery Escobar was arrested for DUI, driving without a license and no insurance after he was involved in crash causing injuries.
510 Sharondale (Miscellaneous 21-004494):
Officers responded at the request of the resident to remove a Swisher Sweets package that contained a small amount of tobacco. Police disposed of the product.
6700 Ringgold Rd (DUI 21-004495):
Kelsi Westfall was taken into custody for DUI.
4200 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004496):
Kevin Freeman was arrest for possession of over two pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
6513 Ringgold Rd (Fight 21-004502):
Officers responded to a fight between approximately 10 parties at the Waffle House. When police arrived on scene the fight had spilled into the parking lot. Destiny Johnson, Alexis Steele, and Kashala Grant were taken into custody for underage consumption of alcohol, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Kashala Grant was also charged with resisting arrest.
3720 Anderson Ave (Aggravated Domestic Assault 21-004506):
ERPD responded to a report of an aggravated assault. Justin Glover is alleged to have kidnapped his girlfriend from a Chattanooga club and brought her to this address. Once at the Anderson Ave address he assaulted her.
State Line/Truman (Evading 21-004488)
Police attempted to stop a white older four door vehicle with a GA tag and white female driver. The vehicle was last seen South on Truman towards State Line.
