The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along reports.”
March 30 Day Shift
Budgetel-
A man and a woman (Patton Towers Relocation) were ejected from the motel for failure to follow the rules. The woman left the property in a vehicle. The man left on foot and was last observed walking east on Slater Road.
21-004227- 415 Cedar Glen Circle- Theft-
The complainant stopped by the the Fire and Police Service Center to report his trailer registration tag missing. (TN 130400T) There are no suspects. The tag was entered in NCIC.
21-004228- 4150 Monroe Street (Murphy USA)- Hold Up Alarm-
Police responded to check the business. On arrival police spoke with an employee. Everything checked out ok. The alarm was accidental.
21-003172- Warrant Service-
Data Bulloch was arrested on East Ridge warrant number 140866 and transported to 601.
21-004229- 6404 Ringgold Road (Burger King)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a white female in the business acting strange and talking to herself. On arrival police spoke to the female. It was found she is the child of an employee.
21-004232- 1410 Mack Smith Road (Budgetel)- Disorder Prevention-
The caller requested police assistance with retrieving her belongings. On arrival police spoke with the caller. While on scene the caller was unable to access the room.
21-004234- 1417 Saint Thomas Street (Motel 6)- Disorder-
The caller advised the guest in room 222 was causing a disorder and refusing to leave at check out. On arrival the guest had already left the property.
21-004237- 4320 Bennett Road (East Ridge High School)- Delayed Assault-
The complainant reported her juvenile daughter was assaulted by another student at the school. A report was filed, and charges are pending further investigation.
21-004239- 332 Tanager Circle- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised an unknown black male pulled a four-wheeler through her yard and then cursed her. On arrival police spoke with the caller. The suspicious male has yet to be identified.
21-004241- 2005 Tombras Avenue- AOA-
Police were dispatched with Fire on a trash fire. On arrival police stood by while Fire extinguished the blaze. The homeowner was advised of burning laws.
21-004247- 4700 block Maryland Drive- Theft from Vehicle-
On arrival police met with the resident. She advised sometime between 3/29/21 around 2000 hours and 3/30/21 at 0400 two of her vehicles a 2012 Ford F450 and a 2015 Nissan Armada were entered illegally. The resident reports both vehicles were left unlocked. $120 cash was taken from the Ford out of the center console along with a CZP7. Another firearm, a Glock 26, was taken from the Nissan out of the glove box. Nothing on scene was noted at this time to process. There is no suspect information available. The CZ was entered into NCIC as stolen but the resident did not have the serial number on the Glock.

Night Shift
6725 Ringgold Road (Theft/Assault 21-004249):
Family Dollar staff reported that a female entered the store. At that time, she began placing items in her purse and eating food off the shelves. Staff confronted the female and called police. The female shoved a staff member and fled the scene. The female is described as a W/F, dark red hair, approximately 5’5”, 30-35 years of age. The staff member who was assaulted does wish to prosecute if the female can be identified.
6501 Ringgold Rd (Indecent Exposure 21-004250):
The reporting party stated a black male was urinating and exposing himself in the parking lot of BB&T Bank. The male had been placed at the Budgetel because of the condemnation of Patten Towers in Chattanooga. Police had already dealt with the man earlier in the day when the Budgetel requested assistance with removing him. The witness did not wish to prosecute. The man was relocated to a Carta bus stop on Brainerd Rd at his request.
3528 Connelly Ln (Disorder 21-004252):
The caller requested police respond to this address because her dog had been struck, in the roadway, by a motorcycle and was now deceased.
6642 Ringgold Rd (Disorder 21-004255):
The reporting party stated an unwanted was refusing to leave the Econo Lodge. Crag Gerlt was taken into custody for public intoxication.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Arrest 21-004256):
Tyrek Byrd came to the East Ridge Police Dept. stating he wished to turn himself in on Hamilton County warrants. When officers attempted to take Byrd into custody he pulled away and resisted. He was charged with resisting arrest and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where the county warrants were served.
3428 Bennett Rd (Found Property 21-004258):
The reporting party located a backpack in a ditch containing a laptop computer. Officers located the owner of the backpack in Chattanooga and returned it. The homeowner had security camera footage of several black males in a newer model black Toyota 4Runner placing the backpack in the vehicle. This vehicle is a stolen vehicle with Alabama tags and has been accompanied by a red Honda Civic burglarizing homes and vehicles in Walker County Ga and Chattanooga. The vehicles seem to be occupied by up to seven suspects between them. The vehicles have fled multiple agencies including THP, Chattanooga and Walker County.
6600 Ringgold Rd (AOA Warrant 21-004261):
Mi’Kyng Wright was detained during a traffic stop on Hamilton County warrants and transported to the jail.
300 Shepherd Ave (Miscellaneous 21-004264):
Chattanooga PD responded to a shooting near the entrance to Ridgeside on Tunnel Blvd. There were at least two parties confirmed shot by CPD. Multiple ERPD units responded to Ridgeside to insure the suspects had not fled into the area patrolled by East Ridge Police.
4222 Ringgold Rd (Intoxicated Party 21-004266):
Officers responded to reports of an intoxicated Hispanic male attempting to buy beer at Speedway. The suspect fled south on Tombras Ave prior to police arrival.
1410 Mack Smith (Assist EMS 21-00463):
Police responded with EMS on an unconscious female at the Budgetel. Police located the female, who is a displaced Patten Towers citizen, unconscious in the floor of the kitchen. Officers and EMS personnel also took note of over 19 prescription medications on the dresser. The party was transported by EMS to Parkridge East.
6401 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Activity 21-004273):
Officers were summoned to the McDonald’s in reference to a male subject who appeared agitated and was attempting to enter the building through the back entrance. Police made contact with David Bracey who was extremely agitated and speaking so fast officers could not understand him. Bracey was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
