March 18 –Day Shift
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Marcus Brooks was eventually served with several warrants through ERPD at the jail after being taken into custody at Hamilton County Court. (20-14124 and 20-15346)
4214 Ringgold Road (warrant service):
Rishan Walker came to the police department with her bondsman to turn herself in for a capias warrant. She was processed and released. (21-003632)
6000 block Welworth Avenue (mental illness):
A female called police after her autistic son became combative. Police calmed the child down, and female was able to take him to T.C. Thompson’s. (21-003624)
302 Dunlap Avenue (auto theft recovery):
On-Star contacted police about a stolen 2020 Chevrolet Equinox rental car possibly sitting at the Seminole Path Apartments. The car was located and was towed by Cannon’s after CPD declined processing the vehicle. The vehicle was removed from NCIC. (21-003625)
422 S. Seminole Drive (traffic control):
Police conducted traffic control after a garbage truck miscalculated a turn and slid off the pavement and on the edge of a ditch requiring several heavy wreckers to pull the truck free. (no number)
1410 N. Mack Smith Road (well being check):
A report was filed with CPS after a woman claimed she was accidentally locked out of her room while her small child was inside the room. (21-003639)

March 18 –Night Shift
6210 Ringgold Road / Disorder / Narcotics (21-003651):
Police responded to a “rolling” disorder that happened to stop at this location. Police initially were called after a passerby observed a male party striking a female party while driving down the road. After making contact with both parties, they advised no assault had taken place. Police did, however, locate narcotics on the male party, Seth Roberts, who was taken into custody and charged with possession of schedule V narcotics.
1410 Mack Smith Rd / Abandoned Child (21-003666):
Police responded to this location at the fire department’s request who was on scene concerning a fire alarm. A small child was located and appeared to be abandoned. Police were able to locate the child’s mother and found her to be having a mental health emergency. The female party was transported to Parkridge East for evaluation, and the child was eventually turned over to the biological grandparents with CPS approval.
1303 Spring Creek Road – Public Intox 21-003664:
Patricia Bell was arrested for Public Intoxication as she was reported to be knocking on doors and asking to come inside.
6513 Ringgold Road – Drug Paraphernalia 21-003669:
Randy Sluder was issued a misdemeanor citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop.
6708 Ringgold Road – DUI 21-003671:
Paul Terry was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop.
3818 Kingwood Circle/ Simple Possession (21-003662):
Police were dispatched to 3818 Kingwood Circle for an assault in progress. Upon arrival, police made contact with a female and Jerry Matthews. The woman stated that both parties were arguing about Matthews entering her home. However, no entry was made. While searching Matthews’ person, police found methamphetamine. Police determined the argument to be verbal in nature. Matthews was arrested for Simple Possession and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

March 19 – Day Shift
21-003672- South Seminole Drive @ Lisa Drive- Suspicious Vehicle:
The caller advised of a dark color truck sitting at the bus stop. On arrival police contacted the occupants of the vehicle and found a parent waiting on the school bus with their children.
21-003676- Warrant Service:
Wayne Battelyoun was arrested and transported to 601 on East Ridge warrants.
21-003677- Warrant Service:
Courtney Foster was arrested and transported to 601 on East Ridge warrants.
21-003679- 4145 Ringgold Road (Lomenacque Apartments)- Auto Theft-
On arrival police spoke with the victim. He advised sometime between 1800 hours 03/18/2021 and 0920 hours 03/19/2021 an unknown suspect stole his vehicle. The victim stated the registration was removed from the vehicle and left on the ground. The victim had no suspect information to provide to police and there was nothing on scene to process. The victim is unsure if the vehicle was locked or not, but he is still in possession of the keys. The vehicle was entered in NCIC.
21-003686- 3918 Ringgold Road (Stop n Save)- Disorder:
An anonymous passerby reported a white male and female were arguing outside of the business. The anonymous reporting party stated the white female left the scene in a white sedan and the male remained in the area. Once on scene police located a white male matching the reporting party’s description walking through the parking lot. The white male was stumbling and appeared disoriented. Police spoke to the male and he was identified as Michael Williams. While speaking to Williams, officers detected a strong smell of alcoholic beverage on his breath. Williams was placed in custody on the charge of public intoxication and transported to 601.
21-003687- 6609 Jordan Run- Theft:
Police spoke with the complainant over the phone regarding a theft. He advised his whitewater kayak was stolen sometime overnight. He stated he stores the kayak on the roof of his vehicle, and it was last seen this morning around 0200 hours. When he woke up, he noticed the kayak was missing.
21-003695- 707 Gleason Terrace Court- Found Property:
The caller advised of several items he located next to his house. Among the items was a Volvo key fob mixed in with several trash items. The key was put in property.

March 19 – Night Shift
1417 St Thomas St (Suicide Threats 21-003706):
The reporting party stated his fiancé had threatened to commit suicide. Police made contact with the female who stated she did not wish to harm herself.
1417 St Thomas St (Theft 21-003709):
The complainant called police to report a possible theft and burglary of his motel room. Moore stated he had several items missing from his room and believes someone may have a key granting them access to the room.
1400 block John Ross Rd (Mental Health 21-003720):
Police responded to reports of a naked male walking on Craig Road. Officers made contact with the party and he stated he had received a COVID vaccine and he was experiencing a reaction. He was transported to the hospital by EMS.
6300 Ringgold Rd (Unconscious Party 21-003724):
Police responded to a vehicle in the drive-thru of Krystal with an unconscious driver. Officers made contact with Lawanna Carter and Tierra Nelson who were both asleep in the vehicle. Carter was taken into custody for DUI. Nelson was taken into custody for possession of Xanax.
6401 Ringgold Rd (Aggravated Assault 21-003727):
Police were flagged down by a party who stated he had been in a disorder with a person driving a white truck. He stated the driver had pointed a handgun at him during the disorder. The truck was following the victim when he made contact with officers. Police attempted to stop the truck but it fled into Georgia at a high rate of speed. Officers lost sight of the vehicle on Prater Rd.
5610 Ringgold Road (Arrest 21-003719):
Rachel Damon was arrested for DUI, speeding, failure to maintain lane, and light law violation during a traffic stop at this location.
4214 Ringgold Rd (Warrant Service 20-012537):
Cody Phinizey was served East Ridge warrants for domestic assault.
